Kate Mara and Michael B. Jordan are having a pretty good day. The two stars confirmed that they're signed on to star in the Fantastic Four reboot just hours after reports surfaced that they were in final negotiations for their roles. Jordan posted a picture on his Instagram account of the number four and wrote, "Flame On!" The actor has been rumored to play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch for several months now, and it looks like all the buzz was spot on. Meanwhile, Mara tweeted, "Feeling invisible… in a wonderful way #FantasticFour." The actress, who is going to be playing the role of Sue Storm/Invisible Girl, added a smiley face to the exciting post. Miles Teller is reportedly signed on to star as Dr. Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, with Jamie Bell offered the part of Ben Grimm/The Thing. The highly anticipated remake has been in development since 2009 and will be based on based on the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic. Josh Trank has been called to direct the film, and Simon Kinberg was hired to put the finishing touches on the script in November. Fox's first installment of the Fantastic Four franchise resulted in two movies, released in 2005 and 2007. Jessica Alba Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans and Ioan Gruffudd played the Marvel Comics heroes at the time. The Fantastic Four is scheduled for release on June 19, 2015. Eonline
