Fans of the Annie story can finally have a taste of what the new remake will be like as a brand new official trailer for the film has just hit the net! The new trailer feature a whole 2 minutes and 27 seconds of footage from the film and teases fans with an emotional but fun storyline.  It follows a similar storyline to the original. 11-year-old Annie has grown up in an orphanage run my mean old Miss Hannigan. A wealthy business decides to invite her into his home to create a feel-good story for the press since he is running for mayor. He then bonds with Annie in a way he never thought he would.  The new film stars Quvenzhane as the title character Annie, Jamie Foxx as Benjamin Stacks, which is similar to the character known as “Daddy Warbucks” in the original film, and Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan. The film isn’t just a simple remake, however, it has some modern day changes to it like references to Facebook, and a remixed version of Hard Knock Life by Jay Z.  Jay Z is actually producing the film as well, along with Will Smith. Via:
