 LOS ANGELES, March 12 ― Six years after the final episode of “Las Vegas,” the former “All My Children” star will return to a regular TV role in a new series from the creators of “Breaking Bad” and “House M.D.” Josh Duhamel has been cast in one of the title roles of “Battle Creek,” a police drama about two detectives who have opposing worldviews but are forced to work together to tackle crime in Battle Creek, Michigan. The 41-year-old actor will play Milton Chamberlain, a humble, somewhat naive man who arrives from Detroit to set up a local FBI office. The character is partnered with Russ Agnew, an agent with a reputation for ruthlessness, who will be played by Dean Winters (“Oz”). The two actors recently worked together on the set of “Don Peyote” alongside Anne Hathaway. Helmed by Bryan Singer, “Battle Creek” will be among the new shows in CBS's 2014/2015 line-up. Kal Penn and Janet McTeer are also cast in this series from “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan and “House M.D.” producer and writer David Shore. Josh Duhamel rose to fame through his role as Leo du Pres on “All My Children” before starring in NBC's “Las Vegas” as the head of security at a casino.
