Hi Guys,

Just to make this board colourful and havoc, i would like to invite all of u to play the games. i give the times until this friday. u can give 3 names of country, list 5 attractions in that country and paste the pitcure. worth credit to be won. I will do necessary quiz like this every weeks and who are participates more and gather credit more, i will calculate the accumulate that u have won, and every month i will broadcast who the winner that won much credit, and u will get bonus credit if u are the monthly winner.

1) Thailand
a) Phuket - a rainforested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea, has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, mostly situated along the clear waters of the western shore. The island is home to many high-end seaside resorts, spas and restaurants. Phuket City, the capital, has old shophouses and busy markets. Patong, the main resort town, has many nightclubs, bars and discos.





b) Chiang Mai - Chiang Mai is a city in mountainous northern Thailand. Founded in 1296, it was capital of the independent Lanna Kingdom until 1558. Its Old City area still retains vestiges of walls and moats from its history as a cultural and religious center. It’s also home to hundreds of elaborate Buddhist temples, including 14th-century Wat Phra Singh and 15th-century Wat Chedi Luang, adorned with carved serpents.


c) Bangkok -Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire



d) Krabi - Krabi, on southern Thailand’s west coast, is a province characterized by craggy, sheer limestone cliffs, dense mangrove forests, and more than a hundred offshore islands. Some of its most popular beach destinations include the Phi Phi Islands, which jut from the sea like giant rainforested boulders, and Railay Beach, accessible only by boat and a prominent rock-climbing spot.



e) Koh samui - Ko Samui, Thailand’s second largest island, lies in the Gulf of Thailand off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus. It's known for its palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and dense, mountainous rainforest, plus luxury resorts and posh spas. The landmark 12m-tall golden Big Buddha statue at Wat Phra Yai Temple is located on a tiny island connected to Ko Samui by a causeway.

2) New Zealand
a)  Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound, South Island
A World Heritage Site, Fiordland National Park protects some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Glaciers sculpted this dramatic landscape carving the famous fjords of Milford, Dusky, and Doubtful Sounds. Visitors here can explore gushing cascades, offshore islands, virgin rainforests, vast lakes, and craggy mountain peaks. Not surprisingly, the park is a haven for hikers with some of the country's best walks, including the famous Milford Track. Sea kayaking is a popular way to explore the fjords, and visitors can also enjoy a scenic flight over the park for a bird's eye view of its staggering beauty.


b) Bay of Islands, North Island
A three-hour drive north of Auckland, the beautiful Bay of Islands is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the country. More than 144 islands dot the glittering bay making it a haven for sailing and yachting. Penguins, dolphins, whales, and marlin live in these fertile waters, and the region is a popular sport fishing spot. Visitors can sea kayak along the coast, hike the many island trails, bask in secluded coves, tour Cape Brett and the famous rock formation called Hole in the Rock, and explore sub-tropical forests where Kauri trees grow. The quaint towns in the area such as Russell, Opua, Paihia, and Kerikeri are great bases for exploring this scenic bay.



c) Lake Taupo and Tongariro National Park, North Island
In the center of the North Island, a few kilometers from glittering Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest lake, Tongariro National Park is a dual World Heritage Site due to its spectacular volcanic features and its importance to the Maori culture. In 1887, Maori chief Te Heuheu Tukino IV gifted the volcanic peaks of Tongariro, Ngauruhoe, and part of Ruapehu to the people of New Zealand in order to preserve this sacred land. One of the oldest national parks in the world, Tongariro is a land of dramatic beauty with towering volcanoes, turquoise lakes, arid plateaus, alpine meadows, and hot springs. A highlight of the park is the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, one of the most popular day walks in the country.


d)Abel Tasman National Park and the Abel Tasman Coast Track, South Island
The Abel Tasman Coast Track in Abel Tasman National Park is one of New Zealand's Great Walks. Winding along sparkling Tasman Bay, from Marahau to Separation Point, this scenic 51-kilometer hike lies in one of the sunniest regions of the South Island. Along the way, hikers can snorkel in secluded coves; spot fur seals, dolphins, penguins, and a diverse range of birds; hike through cool forests; and enjoy panoramic views from the rugged coastal cliffs. Photographers will also enjoy the many weathered rock formations, especially Split Apple Rock, a giant granite boulder sliced in two. The hike takes around three days, and accommodation ranges from campgrounds, to rustic huts, and plush private lodges. Sea kayaks are also a popular way to explore this beautiful coast.


e)Coromandel Peninsula, North Island
Just across the Hauraki Gulf from Auckland, the rugged Coromandel Peninsula seems a world away from the city's hustle and bustle. Craggy mountains cloaked in native forest form a spine along the peninsula offering excellent opportunities for hiking and birding. Visitors can also relax on the golden beaches, sea kayak around the offshore islands, sky dive, and visit the many galleries and art studios. At Hot Water Beach, a dip in the bubbling hot pools is a great way to end a busy day of sightseeing.

3) Turkey

a) Ankara
Turkey’s capital city, Ankara, is a sprawling, modern city home to government buildings, commercial businesses, universities and foreign embassies. Located right in the center of the country and the Anatolia region, Ankara is an important transportation hub, linking travelers to other major destinations in Turkey. The city itself city offers a lively arts and culture scene with a large concentration of museums, including the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.


b) Mardin
Perched on a strategic hilltop overlooking the plains of Mesopotamia in southeastern Turkey, Mardin is the capital of the Mardin Province. One of the oldest settlements in the region, Mardin is best known for its cultural diversity and Old City of sandstone buildings that cascade down the hill. Mardin’s Old City is easily toured by walking. The maze of meandering streets leads visitors along terraced houses and popular sites like Deyrü’z-Zafaran Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the world, and the Sultan Isa Medresesi, a medieval monument that once served as an astronomical observatory.



c) Konya
One of the oldest cities in the world and best known for its remarkable Seljuk architecture and Whirling Dervishes, Konya is a large city in Turkey’s Central Anatolia Region. In the 12th and 13th centuries, Konya prospered as a capital city under the rule of the Seljuk Dynasty. Today, buildings from that era can still be admired such as the Alaeddin Mosque and the ruins of the Seljuk Palace. Konya was also the home of the Persian theologian and Sufi mystic, Rumi. His mausoleum is a must-see site in Konya. Rumi’s followers founded the Mevlevi Order, better known as the Whirling Dervishes due to their religious ceremonies in which they spin around and around on the left foot while wearing white, billowing gowns.




d) Cappadocia
Situated in Central Anatolia, Cappadocia is best known for its fairytale landscape of unusual formations resembling chimneys, cones and pinnacles. Natural processes such as ancient volcanic eruptions and erosion have all sculpted these odd formations over the ages. Thousands of years ago, mankind added remarkable touches to the landscape by carving out houses, churches and underground cities from the soft rock. The Hittites were the first to chisel out underground tunnel complexes, seeking safety from invading Persians and Greeks. Much later Christians sought refuge in Cappadocia’s tunnels and caves. Today, some of the caves in the region are actually hotels and cater to tourists.



e) Istanbul
Once serving as the capital of the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires, Istanbul today is the largest city in Turkey and one of the largest in the world. Istanbul stretches across a narrow strait that connects Asia and Europe, making it the only city in the world spanning two continents. Impressive architecture, historic sites, dining, shopping, nightlife and exotic atmosphere all make Istanbul one of the best places to Visit in Turkey. The Old City is where most of the city’s impressive historic sites are found, which include the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.

1) The Burj Al-Arab

The Burj Al-Arab is the world's tallest hotel, standing 321 meters high on its own artificial island on the Dubai coastline. Designed to resemble a billowing dhow sail, the exterior of the building is lit up by a choreographed colored lighting show at night. Decadent in every way possible, the Burj Al-Arab is one of the most expensive hotels in the world, with the most luxurious suites costing more than $15,000 for one night.

For those without unlimited credit, the way to experience the over-the-top opulence is to go for dinner at the underwater Al-Mahara restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling glass panels in the dining room walls allow you to view sea life while you eat, or you can enjoy lunch at California-style fusion restaurant Scape. For the ultimate panoramic views over the city, book afternoon tea at the Skyview Bar (a minimum spend is required) on the 27th floor.

2) Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek separates the city into two towns with Deira to the north and Bur Dubaito the south. The creek has been an influential element in the city's growth, first attracting settlers here to fish and pearl dive. Small villages grew up alongside the creek as far back as 4,000 years ago, while the modern era began in the 1830s when the Bani Yas tribe settled in the area. The Dhow Wharfage is located along Dubai Creek's bank, north of Al-Maktoum Bridge. Still used by small traders from across the Gulf, some of the dhows anchored here are well over 100 years old. You can visit here, watching cargo being loaded and unloaded on and off the dhows. Dhow workers often invite visitors onto the vessels for a tour, where you can gain insight into the life of these traditional sailors. Many of the dhows here travel onwards to Kuwait, Iran, Oman, India, and down to Africa's horn. This tiny remnant of Dubai's traditional economy is still a bustling and fascinating place to wander around.

To travel across the creek, you can either take a trip on one of the many dhows that have been restored as tourist cruise boats or take an abra (small wooden ferry) between the ferry points on the creek's Bur Dubai and Deira banks.

3) KITE BEACH

This long stretch of white-sand beach, south of Jumeirah beach, isn't just a top destination for sunbathers looking to lap up a lazy day of swimming and soaking up the rays on the sand. Kite Beach is renowned as Dubai's premier destination for kite surfers and is home to an array of water sports operators. This is where you come to get out on the water kite surfing or try your hand at stand up paddleboarding, with equipment hire and lessons all easily arranged on the beach.

  

4) DUBAI MALL

Dubai Mall is the city's premier mall and provides entry to the Burj Khalifa as well as the Dubai Aquarium. There is also an ice-skating rink, gaming zone and cinema complex if you're looking for more entertainment options. The shopping and eating is endless and there are nearly always special events such as live music and fashion shows within the mall. The most famous of these are the annual Dubai Shopping Festival in January and February and the Dubai Summer Surprises Festival in July and August.

5. AQUAVENTURE WATERPARK

This waterpark, based at Atlantis, The Palm on the Palm Jumeirah - Dubai's famous man-made island development - is a great place to cool off after a few days of hectic shopping and sightseeing. The water slide action here is excellent and world-class, with the Aquaconda, the world's longest water slide; a nine-story-tall slide, aptly named the Leap of Faith; and water coaster rides. There's also underwater safaris using seatrek helmets; a dedicated water play area for smaller children with slides; and for when all your energy has been used up, a 700-meter sweep of white-sand beach to chill out on.

1. Matterhorn, Zermatt   



Piramid bersaiz gergasi ini boleh dikatakan gunung paling banyak difoto dan menjadi gambar poskad di serata dunia dan dengan itu, ianya juga merupakan puncak Alpine paling terkenal di Switzerland. Matterhorn di Zermatt berdiri pada ketinggian 4,478 meter  dan dan menarik minat para pendaki gunung dari seluruh pelosok dunia yang ingin mendakinya. Bahkan ada yang berani untuk mencapai puncaknya. Kereta kabel berkelajuan tinggi melalui stesen gunung di Zermatt, stesen kereta kabel tertinggi di Alps, dan menaiki ski dan papan luncur salji ke pergunungan sekitar semasa musim sejuk atau anda boleh berjalan kaki pada musim panas.

2.The Jungfrau Region




The Jungfraujoch  adalah kawasan Alpine ajaib yang menawarkan banyak aktiviti yang mencabar dan untuk mereka yang mencari tempat percutian yang lebih tenang dan sunyi. Terdapat juga gunung yang dipanggil ‘the big three’ iaitu glasier monoliths Jungfrau, Monch, dan Eiger yang merupakan menara di atas padang rumput hijau. Di tengah-tengahnya terletak Interlaken, sebuah bandar desa yang menjadi titik permulaan pelancongan yang semakin popular. Dari sana, anda boleh mendaki ke puncak Jungfrajoch, seperti bandar-bandar  Grindelwald, Murren, Wengen dan Lauterbrunnen. Berjalan kaki atau menaiki kereta api ke puncak Kleine Scheidegg, Grindelwald-Pertama, Schynigge Platte atau Schilthorn dan menghayati pemandangan panorama yang anda pasti tidak akan lupa.

3. Lugano


Perjalanan ke Lugano menunjukkan sisi pandang yang berbeza tentang Switzerland. Bersempadan dengan Itali di selatan, pengaruh Itali tidak dapat dinafikan di rantau Ticino, dari bahasa tempatan, villa romantis dan kaya dengan pelbagai jenis masakan hingga musim panas yang hangat. Cuaca di selatan Switzerland diwarnai udara yang hangat di Mediterania. Lugano dipenuhi dengan muzium dan beberapa tapak warisan yang ditempatkan di palazzos neoklasik (bangunan besar). Bandar ini terletak di utara  Lago di Lugano (Tasik Lugano) yang cantik, sebuah kawasan yang sering dikunjungi oleh selebriti dan diberi gelaran sebagai ‘Monte Carlo of Switzerland’.

4.The Rhine Falls


The Rhine Falls, air terjun terbesar di Eropah, merupakan satu keajaiban semula jadi mempesonakan pelancongan Switzerland. Di bahagian paling utara Switzerland berhampiran bandar Schaffhausen, dengan keluasan melebihi dari 150 meter. Pelawat dapat melihat pemandangan dari beberapa tempat menonton sementara bagi mereka yang cukup berani, anda boleh menyewa kapal anda sendiri dan pergi ke istana terdekat  iaitu Schloss Laufen dan Schloss Wörth. Pada Hari Kebangsaan Switzerland yang jatuh pada 1 Ogos, Rheinfall mempamerkan paparan bunga api bersiri yang menarik untuk pelancong.

5. Bern

  

Tidak banyak orang yang tahu bahawa bandar zaman pertengahan Bern ini adalah ibu negara Switzerland. Tetapi sebaik sahaja anda melangkah ke jalan sempit dan kecil, semua keraguan pasti hilang. Di setiap sudut kota ini mempunyai sejarahnya yang tersendiri, terutama sekali di Old Town, yang telah dinamakan sebagai Tapak Warisan Dunia UNESCO. Menara Archaic dihiasi di batu pasir Bern, banyak air pancut dan entrenchments. Manakala arked dipenuhi dengan butik, bar, dan kafe. Sebagai kerusi parlimen Switzerland (Bundeshaus), Bern adalah salah satu pusat bersejarah yang paling terpelihara di Switzerland. Ia menawarkan taman botani yang menakjubkan, pasar mingguan yang berwarna-warni dan akses ke River Aare dan Bear Park, di mana keluarga beruang merupakan simbol bandar tersebut.

TASMANIA

1.  Bay of Fires


   

On the north-east coast of Tasmania, the Bay of Fires is a region of pristine white beaches, blue water and these incredible rock formations (orange-hued granite) in which the colour is produced by a lichen. It’s widely regarded as one of the most beautiful places in Tasmania. And we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.

It’s a two and a half hours drive from Launceston, or base yourself in St Helens or Binalong Bay.  

2.  Bruny Island  

  

Ruggedly beautiful with towering sea cliffs and deep sea caves, fur seals, fairy penguins, an abundance of bird life and if you’re visiting in the right season, the opportunity to see migrating whales.

Bruny Island is an easy day trip from Hobart, and the best way to experience Bruny if you only have half a day is with local legend Rob Pennicott from Pennicott Wilderness Journeys.  

3. Hobart

  

Hobart is charming, inviting, walkable, and one of Australia’s oldest cities with lots to do in and around the area – we spent 6 days here. The history is still alive with its 19th Century sandstone warehouses that now serve as cafes, restaurants and artists’ studios. Quaint cottages and colonial mansions are all over the small city.

And then there is the backdrop ofMount Wellington rising above the city and the River Derwent racing through its heart. Get a dash of history by wandering around the historic harbour, Battery Point, and Salamanca. And of course there is the incredible MONA museum.

4.  Port Arthur

Port Arthur is a village and historic site in southern Tasmania, Australia. Sitting on the Tasman Peninsula, it was a 19th-century penal settlement and is now an open-air museum. Ruins include the huge penitentiary and the remaining shell of the Convict Church, which was built by inmates. Solitary confinement cells in the Separate Prison building were used to inflict mental punishment in place of floggings.

5. Coles Bay  

   

Coles Bay is set in a spectacular location with uninterrupted views of the red and pink granite peaks known as The Hazards. It’s a small town with a few shops and cafes

This town is mostly known as the gateway to Freycinet National Park (our favourite place in Tasmania). Nearby Honeymoon Bay is brilliant and consider going kayaking in the beautiful bay. We could easily spend a week based here exploring Freycinet and all its walks.
