Thank you for using the discussion forum.

We hope you enjoy these discussion boards and find information, inspiration, and encouragement as you connect with other Christians here.

Please respect decisions taken - even if you disagree. The Moderators may sometimes make wrong decisions and are open to discussing decisions taken on the forums. However, none of the Moderators are under obligation to enter into discussion nor continue to post in a discussion.

While we hope to be a place where Christians can chat, encourage one another and discuss together, Moderators do not and cannot have the authority, accountability and pastoral oversight like church leaders do.

Because this is a Christian viewpoint site, Please keep discussions centered around Bible, Christianity and Christian beliefs.

AGAMA KRISTIAN & KRISTIAN GUIDELINES/RULES

By posting on these boards, you are agreeing to abide by the Agama Kriatian & Kristian guidelines set out on these pages:

1. Courtsey & Respect

Be courteous to every Cari forum member. Remember that not everybody has the same opinion as you. Just because someone does not agree with you, does not mean that they are wrong and you are right. Continuing an argument for the sake of proving that you're right (and nothing else) is not good! Treat everyone with respect. If you disagree with someone's point of view, discuss ideas rather than attacking individuals or groups. Judgmental comments are not welcome, and forum members who don't demonstrate a loving spirit will not be tolerated!

2. No Preaching!

We will not accept posts which are clearly just an attempt to take an opportunity to 'preach' or post about something other than the one true Gospel of Jesus in the Bible.

3. No Proselytizing!
Do not to make aggressive, repeated, or unwanted attempts to convert another member's religious beliefs. Please respect the rights of others to follow their own religious beliefs, even if you think those beliefs are false.

4. Stay on-topic

a) - Discussions should be kept generally relevant to Christianity as the forums are intended to have a focus on Christianity and Christian related issues.

b) - Keep your posts relevant to the forum theme.

c) - Try not to derail the topic of the thread you are posting in. You may start a new thread if you desire to discuss a different topic.

5. Watch your language

a) - Profanity, obscenities, sexually explicit language, sexual innuendos, vulgar or rude comments, and expressions of bigotry are out of place here, including attempts to "mask" such words by using initials, blanks, or asterisks.

b) - Do not engage in derogatory name-calling, including calling anyone evil, a liar, Satanic, demonic, Antichrist, a Nazi, or other inflammatory comparisons.

6. Personal attacks

a) - Do not create posts and discussions intended to criticize or ridicule other forum members personally.

b) - Do not to make negative personal remarks about other forum members, including negative remarks about their age, disability, gender, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, intelligence, character, appearance, health, mental health, education or any other personal characteristic.

c) - We encourage personal problems with other members be resolved privately via email or Private Message.

7. Disruptive behavior

a) - Do not disrupt or interfere with discussions. Disruptive behavior may include creating a disproportionate number of posts(spamming) or discussions to disrupt conversation; creating off-topic posts; making statements that are deliberately inflammatory; manipulating topic lists to disrupt conversation; expanding a disagreement from one discussion to another; or any behavior that interferes with conversations or inhibits the ability of others to use and enjoy this website for its intended purposes.

8. No Denomination Bashing! new!

We come from many different backgrounds and traditions -- Catholic, Orthodox, Reformed, Mainline Protestant, Pentecostal, Baptist, you name it. Some may not yet have become Christians. Thus we do not engage in criticizing other denominations. Our focus and unity is in Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Derogatory statements about Christian denominations, practices, or beliefs, that cause any participant to feel discomfort will not be tolerated!
