JANGAN Pandang Belakang, begitulah tajuk filem terbaru terbitan Metrowealth Movies Production. Mendengarkan tajuknya sahaja membuatkan khalayak tertanya-tanya maksud di sebaliknya.

Filem ke-21 terbitan syarikat berkenaan sudah pun memulakan penggambarannya pada 26 Julai lalu. Filem yang mengenengahkan skrip hasil karya Pierre Andre itu diarahkan oleh Ahmad Idham.

Biarpun masih muda, Pierre yakin sentuhan pertamanya itu mampu menjadi sebuah naskah terbaik.

Berbekalkan pengamatan dan kajian yang dilakukannya sendiri, Pierre begitu teruja menceritakan skrip pertamanya itu.

揑dea ini tercetus pada tahun lepas. Saya berminat untuk menghasilkan sebuah filem genre seram. Jadi saya membuat kajian dalam masa dua bulan. Memang wujud benda-benda pelik dalam kehidupan kita seperti saka, dirasuk dan sebagainya.

揊ilem seram bukan bermaksud mesti wujud hantu atau menonjolkan gambar hantu. Tetapi mood seram yang ditampilkan,

tak taulah thread ni dah ada lom..ada sesapa tahu info pasal filem ni?member aku kata citer seram,( hantu etc)  PIERRE ANDRE berlakon..dia kata hari tu masa citer cicakman ade pribiu citer nih...

pierre nye script cite ni...td tgk iklan die b4 cicakman..nampak cam seram. tp...tatau la kadang2 trailer beriya2..alih2 bila tgk, x kemana pon..aku kurang yakin ngan produk ahmad idham dan metrowealth ni...wpon si cinta hatiku pierre andre yg berlakon & script die yg buat.

This upcoming horror movie has yet to hit the cinemas, but it抯 already the talk of the town when a fatal accident occurred during the last day of fi lming of its fi nal scene.

Many can抰 help but wonder about the mystery behind the fall to the death of its stunt man, Nazari Omar Baki. Investigations are still ongoing.

Controversy aside, Jangan Pandang Belakang (JPB), is indeed another solid fl ick from hit director, Ahmad Idham. His recent movie, the sizzling Remp-It collected RM4 million in ticket sales which made it one of the biggest grosses in local fi lm history.

A lot of great horror movies have a creepy storyline as the main pulling-factor and JPB is no exception.

The bonus, however, is in the script. Not so much for its great writing nor the twists and turns of the plot, rather, because it is written by lead actor Pierre Andre.

Local movie followers are already intrigued by this fact, and with words spreading like fi re in a dry forest, interest in this RM1.5 million endeavour is piqued tight.

But such pull-factor method is not new for producer Metrowealth Movies Production - its first experiment was on lead actor Farid Kamil who penned the successful Remp-It.

Adding more spice to soup, this movie also features new faces playing lead - Pierre, Intan Ladyana and Rio Elani, supported by wellknown and established actors - Khatijah Tan, Rusminah Sidek, Dian P.Ramlee, Kamarul Yusoff and Jalaluddin Hassan.

The entire 90-minute fi lm was shot in 26 days in Kuala Kangsar and Ipoh, Perak.
