Ekuestrian - sukan menunggang kuda

nk tanya..dekat sini especially kat kl kat mana yg ada course atau sesiapa yg ada experience ke?teringin plak nk tunggang kuda..hehe,ataupn sport ni still untk org2 kaya?

sekarang banyak dah center yg offer bende nih.
area kl? laaaaaaaaagik banyak.
aku rasa hal $$$ tuh, kalo minat banget mmg tak kisah berbelanja janji berpatutan kan?

aku menunggang dari tahun 1994-2000. berenti sbb ayah aku tak kasi aku involve dalam showjumping secara professional lagipun duit nak sewa seekor kuda maaahal giler. i mean, bile ko nak go pro dah laen cite kan???

firstly, ko kena splurge on equipments. tak semestinye mahal tapi cari yg berkualiti. yang wajib - helmet, boots and jodhpurs(seluar). later on ko akan terasa nak tambah whip, spurs, gloves or someother accessories.

pasal kuda, selalunye club yg ko had class with akan handle it. there are some cases u akan diassign to only one horse every lesson tapi selalunye takla sbb ko kena mingle with different horses to learn about handling.

sbnrnyakan, kalo aku stat cite pasal kuda nih, aku takkan benti. ko tanya nanti aku jawab.....heheh

hehe thanks guys for responding..well,sy just nk try je..kalo mahal banget maybe bile dh keje br ambik course tunggang kude ni..anyway redsinner,skang kalo average utk beginner course brape hinggit ek?kat mane nk beli bembrg cam seluar sume tu?pkai seluar biasek xleh ek?hehe

aku local je...uniten...memang ade equestrian club..aku rasa tempatnyer dah siap time aku grad 2004 dulu....cuba ko goggle skit equestrian club uniten..dengar citer dirang ade wat site...

kalo local boleh tanya UPM gak sbb tempat tu kan ada tempat ternak kuda ke ape ntah....

dia mahal biler ko rasa mengada2 nak jadi serius...tapi aku rasa kalo ikut course yg dia buat tu takdelah mahal sgt...
tak silap time aku ride dulu RM200 per month. itu utk class jer. seminggu 2 kali. sebulan 8 kali class.
equipment kan beli sekali jer. seluar tu ikut ko lah, tapi takut selesa atau tak jer. pakai seluar jodhpurs tu better grip bile duduk atas saddle.
kedai equipment ada kat riding center.

ko tinggal area mane?

Faizal tambah ceria raih tempat ketiga Perlumbaan Tahan Lasak Qatar

PERLUMBAAN Tahan Lasak Berkuda Antarabangsa Qatar mendapat sentuhan diraja apabila Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, berjaya menamatkan perlumbaan dengan penamat podium di Qatar Endurance Village, Doha kelmarin.

Tuanku Mizan menamatkan perlumbaan mencabar di laluan sejauh 160 kilometer di tangga kedua di belakang penunggang Qatar.

Ia juga kegembiraan berganda buat Malaysia apabila Faizal Ismail dari Pusat Ekuestrian Ar-Raudah, Selangor menamatkan perlumbaan di tangga ketiga perlumbaan yang dimenangi Isa Al-Manai yang menunggang bagi pasukan Al Shaqab yang dimiliki Emir Qatar.

Menteri Belia dan Sukan, Datuk Azalina Othman yang mengiringi baginda ke Doha menyatakan kegembiraan dengan pencapaian berkenaan apa lagi memandangkan cuaca agak buruk dan berangin.

Semua 39 penunggang yang mengambil bahagian dilepaskan sekitar jam 9 pagi Jumaat lalu dengan tiga pelumba pertama menamatkan perlumbaan dalam tempoh kira-kira 13 jam.

Dengan kedudukan tempat kedua itu juga, Azalina berkata Tuanku Mizan kini layak menyertai Perlumbaan Tahan Lasak Dunia yang akan diadakan di Terengganu tahun depan.

Qabil will not compete in the Sea Games


AS expected, national rider Qabil Ambak lived up to the expectations of many when he clinched the first qualifying round of the FEI World Cup SEA League at the 3QE Equestrian grounds in Kuang, Rawang, yesterday.

With his mount Parvina, Qabil had a clear round at a height of 140cm with a Jump Off time of 44.75 seconds to beat Helena Gabrielson of Sweden.

Helena, astride King of Power Aladdin, incurred 12 faults in the Jump Off, clocking 47.66s.

Of the 13 starters, only Qabil and Helena had clear rounds.

Qabil, the Sea Games gold medallist, said he was happy with the win as it paved the way for a better and more challenging career.

"I抣l be using Parvina in all of the other qualifiers as she is more accustomed and stronger than my other horses," said Qabil, who will not be competing in December抯 Korat Sea Games to make way for younger riders.

On Saturday, the 27-year-old emerged second in the Class 6, Da Ma Cai International, 135cm event.

Qabil pocketed RM5,000 for his victory yesterday.

It was also a moment to be reckoned with for Qabil抯 student Andika Jamaludin, who was tops in the Class 9, SEA Young Riders Series, 120cm.

Andika, 21, riding Penrose Witchity, made a clean jump in 38.37s during the Jump Off. He beat Japan抯 Misono Hattori astride Tex, who were second with 41.67s with four penalty points.

Juan Lucas Lorenzo of the Philippines riding Mec Rhythm were crowned champions in Class 7, Small Tour, 100cm for the second time with the fastest time of 29.49s. Lorenzo was the winner in the similar event on Saturday with a time of 31.72s in the Jump Off where he beat seven others.

Equestrian: Andika takes honours

MALAYSIA扴 Andika Jamaluddin put up a classy show to emerge as the winner of the Class 7, Perak Turf Club, Medium Tour (120cm) Showjumping event at the Malaysian Open in Sungai Serai, Kuang yesterday.

Andika, who was on Penrose Witchity, grabbed first place in a time of 32.16 seconds after a jump off with Hong Kong Gaelle Tong.

Gaelle clocked 33.82s while Sweden's Helena Gabrielson finished third on 35.28s.

"It was not easy clinching the win because there were several top riders in the field. Most of them have so much more experience than I have and it feels great to have defeated them today (yesterday).

"The win also gives my confidence a big boost for tomorrow抯 (today) third leg of the South East Asian (SEA) League, which is the qualifier for the showjumping World Cup next year.

"That will be another tough assignment and I will give it my best to create another upset." said Andika, who is delighted with the win.

In the Class 8 Da Ma Cai International (130cm), South Korea's Kim Sung Whan showed his class when he took the top two places on It's Fine and Han Ra.

Sung Whan also grabbed the first two spots in the Class 5 (135cm) event on Friday, and was also champion in the Class 3 (130cm) on the opening day of the competition.

Malaysia's Syed Mohsin Syed Bakar was third.
