Hard disk SATA baru tak detect...

Sori la kalau thread ni dah ade tapi aku carik tak jumpe.

So... aku ada Mother Board: MSI KM4M-V, a few weeks back aku ade la beli this one Hard disk:  Western Digital WD3200KS baru (sata). aku pon sambung la macam mana yang dia patut disambungkan. Sata port to sata port. tapi yang peliknya, system aku tak detect.

Baik bios dan baik windows. dua2 tak detect. camna ni?

does sata port in your bios on? if not, turn it on. you need to make sure your bios recognizes your sata hd first before windows will recognize it.

aku pun ada kes camni.....sata 120gb...

bila on slow giler loading pastu last2 kuar skrin biru dan notis suruh remove kan newly hard drive installed...sebb dah xleh wat apa2 aku tekan butang restart dan barulah dapat detect...

dan begitulah seterusnya bila aku on pc, kena tekan butang restart baru dapat masuk windows..

so ada bantuan ke kalo kes camni???


p/s: macam kes thread ni x detect langsung tu aku x tau la plak

camana nak on kan kat bios tuuu?? aku mana ler tauuuuu

masuk bios. dalam bios tu ada setting untuk sata. select sata setting and check if it's on or not. kalau tak on, on kan. reboot and masuk bios balik and make sure bios recognize your new sata hd - bila you pergi kat sata port yang you baru set tu, you akan nampak config untuk your new hd.

hdd yg ko beli tu SATA or SATA2?

KM4M-V cuma support SATA, so kalau ko pakai harddisk SATA2 kena set jumper kecik kat harddisk tu untuk run SATA mode.

aku nye mobo msi k8n neo2..
aku beli sata2..bleh support ke mobo neh?
tulunn..aku pon ada prob yg sma la...dkt sthn aku simpan HDD nie..

jumper dekat hard disk tu la..selalunye sebelah port sata

aku tak jumpa pun sata setting dlm bios...sesapa leh tak bagi manual yang lebih jelas

aku saspek HDD aku dh lemau la..masuk angin..
kuar bunyik je..nnti la aku try kt comp. kwn aku..kot2 boleh ke..

kalo pakai single SATA drive disable SATA/RAID function kat BIOS tu baru dia detect

ko install raid driver dulu...
kalo ko nak guna sata sebagai hd os ko ko kena guna disket sata ...

disk sata eh? itu kalau nak make it master for IDE-0 (OS). kalau nak jadikan dia supplimentary drive?

VIA   punya    chipset   memang  macam  tu   selalu   tak   detect....      baik  pakai chipset  Nvidia   ....   automatik   detect  ......   aku   punya    SATA   HDD   dia   detect   sebagai   USB   ......

let's say, bila start up .. running mcm biasa, maksudnya adala display ... pastu tetiba terus gelap & senyap je ... tu tandanya HDD rosak ke?

check dulu Graphic card / RAM. tengok pasang betul ke tak.
