ni aku nak share ngan korang
sbb skang projek aku pasai superconductor..
tapi aku takla buat betui2 ketapi kan
supercon ni banyak kegunaan
antaranya dalam MRI, dalam wayar, pastu kat industri yang besar2
tapi so far kat malaysia lom lagi maju...
tapi tula
klo berminat leh la tengok link tu
kalau pakai supercon die akan apungkan sikit train tu dr landasan...

ok emiliahani, saya bukan budak electrical so tak tau sgt la tentang superconductor ni, tapi mengikut kefahaman biasa saya, conductor ada pengalir electric, that mean superconductor adalah pengalir electric yang sangat baik, a good conductor is copper and gold, so how do u define a good conduct ? I wondering if number of ions oso play some part? Atomic structrure? Dari segi costing pula, how expensive is this supercondutor? kalau nak buat rel mrt yg boleh terapung by using this superconductor i guess it'll cost billions . How about other things that superconductor can do? Superconductor adalah pengalir yang baik that mean almost zero resistant rite, therefore energy conservation, maybe dalam electrical device yang sangat cepat panas tu perlukan superconductor ?

hermm...actually kalo rel keretapi tu lebih kepada maglev...not supercon...biasenye supercon ni dipakai kat sistem cam komputer or yg related la...kos when achieve supercon..maknenye x der losses...so komp jdk laju la...kalo x silap...huhu

ops lupe....supercond memerlukan kondisi yg sgt sejuk....sbb tu die letak liquid nitro utk wat experimen supercond...kalo x sejuk mende tu x dak per2 pon...wat mase skang ni...xdak lg kot material supercond yg boleh berfungsi dlm suhu bilik...

salah rasenye..huhuhuh...maglev ni dikaitkan ngan meissner effect...yang mana supercon ni die akan menolak sebarang daya yang dikenakan keatasnye...klo tak salahla...baru2 jek laja ni....tau tak nape die masukkan ngan liquid nitrogen pada train yang didemo tu........sbbnye ade supercon kat situ..n supercon hanya menunjukkan sifat supercon pada suhu 77K sahaja...

ok...dari segi kos...mmg mahalla....die lam area nih 9.93 billion yuan (US$1.2 billion) tuk dbina...k tuk soalan lain tak brani nk jawab lagi...later on k....

A maglev, or magnetically levitating train is a form of transportation that suspends, guides and (usually) propels vehicles, predominantly trains, using magnetic forces. This method has the potential to be faster, quieter and smoother than wheeled mass transit systems, potentially reaching velocities comparable to turboprop and jet aircraft (900 km/h, 600 mph).
The highest recorded speed of a maglev train is 581 km/h (361 mph), achieved in Japan in 2003, 6 km/h faster than the conventional TGV speed record.

yup...mmg supercon menolak cam maglev....but utk aplikasi dlm tgv/fast train n sbgainye...rasenye bkn supercon...huhu...77k tu dlm suhu 14+ darjah celcius kan....so even kat kutub pon x leh sampi suhu tu...kalo ade material yg leh supercon pd keadaan biasa tu....laju la komp aku ni...

The magnetically levitated (Maglev) train is a super-high-speed nonadhesive transport system with a combination of superconducting magnets (SCMs) and linear motor technology. The concept was developed at the Railway Technical Research Institute of the Japanese National Railways in 1970. In 1990, construction of the Maglev test line in the Yamanashi prefecture started, for the final confirmation of the Maglev train for practical use; running tests have been carried out since April 1997.1,2
The Maglev system applies the superconducting technology of low-temperature superconductors, Nb-Ti wires, and SCMs that require liquid helium as a coolant. In addition to these well-developed technologies, high-critical temperature superconductors that show superconductivity at liquid nitrogen are also prospective components for the Maglev system.

hehheheheh die mmg pakai supercon la

ermmm....

ni info per yg sy dpt...method yg digunakan utk maglev:-
1.mechanical constraint....(pseudo-levitation)
2.direct diamagnetic levitation
3.Diamagnetically-stabilized levitation
4.supercon
5.Rotational stabilization
6.Servomechanisms
7.Induced currents/Eddy currents

p/s:projek n ni bincang psl supercon in maglev ker...nnt jauh menyimpang lak...hehe
