Jeanne抯 family time after open house

KUALA LUMPUR: After greeting the public at the grand annual Hari Raya open house at Putra World Trade Centre here from morning till evening, Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah and her husband the Prime Minister looked forward to some family time to spend the first day of Raya together.

Having stood for hours at the open house welcoming tens of thousands of guests, her feet were tired and she was eager to take off her shoes and put on something more comfortable at home.

揙nce at home we would sit together for a meal and coffee, and talk about the funny moments we encountered today (Wednesday) at the open house.

揟here would be lots of talking and laughing. We have our comfort food. This year we all felt like eating bubur tepung (a savory dish made of dough boiled with anchovies, sambal and dried shrimps). It is actually a recipe from Pak Lah抯 family,
