Terengganu Unsure Of Bringing Sarawakian Kalang For Sukma
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Terengganu is undecidedwhether to enlist the services of Sarawak midfielder Joseph Kalang forthe 13th Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Melaka from Jun 10 to 19.
The 22-year-old is facing a dilemma as both Terengganu and Sarawak want him for the biennial games.
Terengganu team manager, Sheikh Ahmad Tajuddin said as far as theywere concerned, it was not a problem as the standard playing contractissued by the FA of Malaysia clearly stated that Kalang was eligible torepresent Terengganu.
In fact, Sheikh Ahmad told Bernama, the letter of release issuedby Sarawak FA also gave Kalang the right to play for Terengganu in anycompetitition.
"But we are not sure whether to include Kalang into our Sukma team or not as the Sarawak FA wants him.
We don't want to fight over a player as we want a good relationship with Sarawak FA," said Sheikh Ahmad.
Kalang is currently playing for Terengganu in the Super League.
