Charlie St. Cloud-In Cinema SEPT. 30, 2010

Plot
It's about Charlie St. Cloud, Sailing scholarship recepient from Stanford University, and his brother, Sam who's a big fan of Red Sox. Before his departure for college, Charlie promises his younger brother that they will play baseball together every day until he leaves. Later that night, Charlie and Sam get into a car accident. Although a paramedic is able to revive Charlie, Sam dies in the accident. At Sam's funeral, Charlie runs away into the woods where he meets with Sam's spirit. Charlie plans to continue his promise to Sam by practicing baseball everyday at sunset.
Five years later, Charlie, who gave up his scholarship, is now caretaker at a cemetery. During a trip into town, Charlie visits the boat docks and meets Tess Carroll, a sailor who dreams of one day sailing around the world. Charlie returns to the cemetery and finds Tess wounded, with whom he develops a relationship with. Meanwhile, Sam begins to feel that Charlie is forgetting him when Charlie arrives late for their game of catch. However, Tess follows Charlie as he explains to her that the more he is in her world, the less he can be in Sam's. Now Charlie have to choice between his promise to his long gone brother or move on with the new love of his life.
This movie was based on a novel called "the Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud

erm....sinopsis lebih kurang camni laaa....
Charlie St. Cloud, baru habis high school , bakal jd penerima biasiswa dr Stanford Uni dan adik die Sam yg bercita2 nk masuk Major League Baseball. Diorg kemalangan tapi cuma Charlie je terselamat. masa majlis pengebumian Sam, Charlie x tahan seih dan lari ke hutan dkt ngan kubur tu. dlm hutan tu gak, die jumpa roh Sam dan janji dia akan tolong Sam utk praktis baseball. Charlie pun macam semakin lupa pada cita2 die nk masuk Uni.
5tahun lepas kejadian tu, datang pulak Tess Carroll, dulu satu skolah ngan Charlie tapi skang jd pelayar berjaya. Plan nk mengelilingi dunia ngan kapal layar dia. ade satu benda berlaku dan Charlie & Tess berjumpa. diorg berbual dan akhirnya bercinta. disebabkan Charlie leka ngan Tess, Sam rasa dirinya diabaikan. jadi sekarang ni, Charlie tersepit antara janji dia ngan Sam atau teruskan hidup baru ngan Tess. |
