Scream VI is an upcoming American slasher film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with original franchise writer and creator Kevin Williamson returning as executive producer. It will be the sixth installment in the Scream film series and will be a direct sequel to Scream (2022).

Cast

The film stars Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, and Courteney Cox, who are all reprising their roles from previous installments.[2][3] Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori were later added to the cast.[4][5][6] Franchise star Neve Campbell announced she would not be returning as Sidney Prescott due to not being pleased with the offer presented to her, making this the first film in the franchise not to feature the actress or character.[7]

Scream VI is set to be released in the United States on March 10, 2023, by Paramount Pictures.

Plot

The film continues with the survivors of the latest Ghostface killings, sisters Samantha and Tara Carpenter and twins Chad and Mindy Meeks, leaving Woodsboro behind and starting a new chapter of their lives in New York City[8] only to again be plagued by a streak of murders by a new Ghostface killer.

Neve Campbell says she won’t be in the new Scream sequel after she received an inadequate offer to star in the slasher franchise’s sixth installment.

“Sadly, I won’t be making the next Scream film. As a woman I have had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my value, especially when it comes to Scream. I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise,” Campbell said in a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

In the original 1996 slasher created by Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven, Campbell played protagonist Sidney Prescott, who, along with the characters played by Courteney Cox and David Arquette, among others, faced off with a killer nicknamed Ghostface.

Saje nk komen Scream 5. Cast baru yg muda2 ni especially 2 main actress tu xde charisma la, riak wajah pun mcm ketat je. Bila mcm ni x dpt nk empathy pd watak2 tu....sendu, plot pun senduuu.

And then cast yg lama pulak mcm watak tempelan je. Just nk attract fans Scream yg old school. Lemau sgt..

Mmg nampak gory tp nk kata lagi gory dari biase tu x sure la pulak. Honestly I rs elok jgk kalau x show movie mcm ni kat M'sia. Sbb Scream yg sblum2 ni byk jgk stabbing scenes terang2 pulak tu . The Thing tu sbenarnya Alien u, dlm versi 2011 they all jumpa Spaceship the Thing tu kat area Antartika , mcm crash landing kat situ la bwh lapisan salji ais beribu tahun dulu la. Baru ni they all terjumpa. The Thing tu pulak dekat jgk dgn area spaceship tu tp dah frozen dlm ais. Rupanya die frozen je dlm tu tp masih hidup.
