Another plausible clues, left by sands of history about royal court of Johore.. same cerita mcm Istana Bukit Zaharah/Balai Cengkih, Istana Tyersall/Woodneuk.. 2 bende yang berlainan, tapi leading fact yang sama..
PLAUSIBLE FACT OF HH ALBERT BAKER AND CHICAGO

Sultan Abu Bakar TIDAK PERNAH, dinyatakan dalam Sejarah from British source even sampai sekarang... yang dia pernah jejak kaki ke Amerika..  

takpecaye.. korang boleh google.

Well.. history can be deceitful for unknown reason... particularly for Johore Royal Court.   

ROUNSEVELL WILDMAN

A New Yorker, members of Idaho Delegation to Congress.. and the one that responsible turning Idaho into one of the state in United State of America during Wild Wild West ages.

He was appointed as United State Consul at Singapore in 1892, dan disitu jugak lah dia diperkenalkan kepada Sultan Johor semasa keramaian di Istana Tyersall.

As result, dia menjemput Sultan Johor ke Amerika bagi menyertai World's Columbian Exposition.  







Kedatangan Sultan Johor diberi liputan meluas oleh akhbar2 terkemuka Amerika.. due to unknown reason, none of the record ever printed by British source.. walaupun sehingga sekarang.  

PERJALANAN YANG PELIK

Terdapat kepelikkan terhadap jemputan kepada Sultan Abu Bakar ni...

A special envoy diutuskan oleh Presiden Amerika untuk menjemput Sultan Abu Bakar yang mase tu berada di Carlsbad, Germany.

Deputy Commissioner, V. W. Lake diperintahkan oleh kerajaan Amerika belayar ke Europah dan pergi ke Carlsbad Germany untuk menjemput Sultan Abu Bakar.

Selepas itu, diiringi Sultan Abu Bakar, bersama-sama 10 orang pengikut dan 2 orang Doktor British sehingga sampai semula ke Amerika, perjalanannya mengambil masa 1 bulan pergi dan balik menaiki kapal laut Campagnia.  



Kenape????  tidak diketahui why this American President took pains in fetching this oriental prince to it shores....


CHICAGO 1893

Dekat sinilah.. Sultan Johor mendirikan 3 buah bungalow, mempamerkan hasil masyhul negeri...









dan.. dekat sini jugak lerr dia memperkenal kan "Congkak" dan "Wau".. yang mendapat coverage dari National Geographic sehingga berjaya dilisted kan sebagai permainan Orang Melayu...












But.. the grand display is all.. terlekat sini jugak.. dia mempamerkan "Gold of Ophirs"... sehinggakan pavillion Johor terpaksa dikawal ketat oleh askar2 Republikan.  



AFTERMATH

The clues has not been solved.... tidak diketahui sampai sekarang.. dan aku masih buntu menyelesaikan bende2 ni:

- kenape Sultan Abu Bakar dikatakan tidak pernah pergi ke Amerika...
- kenapa President Amerika perlu menghantar special envoy menjemputnya di Carlsbad Germany
- dan kenape "Gold of Ophirs" tidak diambil gambarnyer...

Abu El Hade (Malayan)


This is an original 1894 halftone print portrait of Abu El Hade, a Malay from the state of Johor in Malaysia.

Period Paper has obtained a rare set of large-format photographic portrait images of the different ethnic people who represented various countries of the world at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, also known as the World Columbian Exposition. Each image comes with a short commentary (not shown). Please note there is no printing on the reverse of these prints.

The World Columbian Exposition was held from May to October 1893 in Chicago in honor of the 400th anniversary of Columbus' discovery of the new world. In competition with many other cities, Chicago was finally designated the official site and the Exposition was built on 630 acres in and around Jackson Park. It was a spectacular display of progress and prosperity, and included among its many wonders electrical exhibits, exhibits from other countries, and a popular amusement area on Midway Plaisance with carnival rides, among them the first Ferris Wheel. Most of the fair's architecture was based on classical design which gave the area around the Court of Honor the name " The White City. "


CONDITION. This 114+ year old item is rated Very Fine +++. No water damage. No aging. No tears. No surface rub. No creases. No natural defects. A nice historical piece.
