Yann Arthus-Bertrand - French photographer, journalist, knight of the Legion of Honor and holder of numerous other awards. He received worldwide fame thanks to a series of photographs of various parts of the Earth taken from the air: the project "Earth, seen from the sky" (English Earth from the Air; 1995). The same name was published in the book, including in Russian in 2002. Arthus-Bertrand has released about 60 books with photographs taken from a height. Total has sold 3 million books with his photographs.
