Budget option for the poor - a house for $ 1500
One of the latest draft proposal for affordable housing by Idealab company was the project WorldHaus - the house just for 1.5 thousand dollars. Most of the materials collected on site, and the house can be built in just 10 days. Homes are in the 1 -, 2 - and 3-room configuration, and optionally can be equipped with toilets, LED-TVs, cooling and heating on the stove and solar energy for cooking.
As they say in Idealab, 1,5 billion people in developing countries live in makeshift houses built of corrugated iron, clay, boards, and anything that comes handy. The first house WorldHaus project has just been completed in Chennai, India. The company hopes to build 5000 homes by the end of next year and a million homes by 2020.
Here in these homes live more than a billion people around the world.

The solution is not needed, because bricks are linked to each other

Roof panel made of polystyrene inside a steel mesh

bumbung dia guna polystyrene je? blh masuk dlm research aku ni..hehe.. kalau org ssh kat malaysia dpt rumah pprt mmg dh beruntung sgt. sbb material yg digunakan blh tahan lama.. |
