Ya memang hebat Dr Ismail tuh. Perkara paling istimewa tentang peluru berpandu ini ialah bahagian yang teramat rumit untuk direkabentuk iaitu enjinnya telah dibangunkan oleh anak watan malaysia sendiri.

The peculiar looking part of the engine in that photo looks like the turbulence chamber illustrated in this technical document regarding the UiTM turbojet developed primarily by Dr Ismail Ibrahim seven years ago.
By cross referencing the pic with the information in that technical paper, some conclusions can be made :
-This medium range missile is powered by a turbojet which means its a cruise missile.
-Because it has cannular combustors and a turbulence chamber identical in shape to the one in the photo, the turbojet diagram in the 2006 document is an exact drawing of the UiTM turbojet and probably of the Nagasakti missile engine as well.
-Turbulence chamber fitted on the Nagasakti missile turbojet engine has the intended effect of causing uneven thrust . I guess that explains why the exhaust plume in that pic was pointing at a weird direction.

Wah! Thrust vector some more!? Brilliant! Can apply this to malaysian indigenous 5th gen fighter...looks like we really gonna be developed and high income nation by 2020... We would probably be self reliant and independent in all our military and defence needs by then. Bravo.. |

I don't see any thrust vectoring hardware in that photo.
Besides, it doesnt make sense for this type of missile to have thrust vectoring .
The turbulence chamber installed on the Nagasakti only serves to allow the missile to make sudden changes in speed all the time so that it will be difficult to shoot idown.

Ini lagi canggih! Even without thrust vector hardware, depa berjaya hasilkan thrust yg tak selari dgn chamber enjin gas turbine tu. pasai tu aku panggey dia thrust vector...hehehe
semoga depa teruskan usaha dan cepatkan sikit r n d depa agar dpt menghasilkan misil pelbagai jenis utk ATM secepat mungkin. Penng kepala aku tengok formula2 depa pakai utk hasilkan enjin misil tuh...tabik spring depa ni pandai add maths n engineering stuff

Teknologi roket jarak dekat macam Qassam bukan tandingan enjin turbojet peluru berpandu jarak sederhana.
Di muka bumi ini hanya segelintir saja negara yang ada keupayaan merekabentuk enjin turbofan/turbojet dengan tujahan 700lb ke atas .
USA, Rusia, Perancis, England, Jerman, China, India, Jepun, Itali, Canada, Ukraine, Iran, Republik Czech serta Malaysia.
Beberapa negara yang sekian lama gigih dalam industri pertahanan seperti Sweden, Israel dan Korea pula masih tak ada kemampuan sendiri.

Ada dah tu depa simpan dalam almari... Tunggu masa yg sesuai aja utk dikeluarkan dan dikeluarkan secara massa. Teknologi misil + pesawat tempur dgn enjin sendiri + kapal2 frigat n lcs n submarine buatan sendiri dgn kuantiti yg munasabah mampu menjauhkan china dari laut china selatan dan membuatkan mereka menangis kempunan tak dapat kaut harta karun di wilayah itu.
rasanya masanya mmg dah masak ranum utk kita bangkit kerana china dah pon ishtihar seluruh laut china selatan itu sbg miliknya. No compromise dgn manusia yg rakus dan tamak haloba.

Kalau dah berjaya pastikan misil ini dikeluarkan untuk ditempatkan dikapal, pesawat atau kegunaan TDM (Pelancar Darat)...semasa kita kaya ni la kita membina dan bukan hanya fokus kepada membeli sahaja.... sebab senjata yg dibeli ada hayatnya....kecualilah kita da keupayaan utk naiktaraf sendiri. |

Malaysia belum ada rekabentuk jet pejuang dan kapal selam sendiri.
Tapi dengan kemampuan jurutera malaysia membangunkan turbojet UiTM tahun 2006 yang boleh hasilkan beberapa ribu paun kuasa tujahan, mereka bolehlah diharapkan untuk merekabentuk pelancar satelit yang mampu mencapai orbit setinggi beribu batu serta enjin jet pejuang. Memandangkan pelancar satelit lebih mudah dan lebih cepat untuk direkabentuk, langkah petama paling bijak sekarang ialah membangunkan pelancar satelit dulu
kemudian barulah enjin jet tempur kalis radar.
Membangunkan jet pejuang halimunan caprut seperti yang sedang dilakukan beberapa negara kini memanglah mudah. Tapi untuk Malaysia jet pejuang generasi ke-5 yang hendak dibangunkan biarlah bertujuan menjadi antara yang terbaik.
Daya tujahan enjin dengan afterburner tak boleh kurang dari 30,000lb manakala nisbah tujahan : berat haruslah 10 : 1
Cannon 20mm-30mm pula mesti setanding Mauser, DEFA, Shipunov atau M61 Vulcan.
Sekiranya malaysia mampu mencapai dua syarat di atas maka secara logiknya tidak akan ada masalah untuk bangunkan bahagian lain yang semuanya lebih mudah
agar tiada satu pun komponen terpaksa diimpot.
Ada satu negara aku tengok dah tengah uji stealth fighter sendiri siap dengan enjin rekabentuk sendiri. Kononnya dah setaraf teknologi Rusia & AS. Tapi sasaran thrust to weight ratio enjin mereka yang tak setinggi enjin F-22 pun masih gagal dicapai. Manakala auto cannon rekabentuk sendiri pula .... langsung tak ujud. ![](static/image/smiley/default/lol.gif)
