PAWS (Paws Animal Welfare Society) was founded in 1987 by a small group of local and expatriate volunteers.
PAWS has been the final destination for strays rounded-up from neighbourhoods and streets on a daily basis. Once brought to the shelter, strays stand the chance of getting re-homed, injured ones are nursed back to life, mummies with litters are isolated and yes, the very sick or injured, euthanised.
PAWS was constructed on a patch of land owned by Sime Plantations on the Subang Airport Road. This distinct group of sheds and a courtyard still stands today and currently homes around 400 cats and dogs.
And good news is, MB Azmin has instructed District Land Office to work with Sime Darby to identify an alternative land for them to relocate to!
Now they need to raise funds for the eventual relocation and rebuilding of the shelter at the new land when it has been identified!
Let's help and support to raise funds for this huge milestone for PAWS by spreading the word out and give them a donation to build their new home.
A continuation support and help from the public are always needed at PAWS. Your help will make a difference to them. Let's help!
