Man, i miss my capoeira training days 9 years ago. We were one of the pioneering groups, from IIUM. People don't even know what is capoeira.
We would train until every muscle fibre in our body becomes sore, perform hand stands, and walking on our hands.
The feeling when you first nail your au batido, is just priceless.
We trained both Regional and Angola styles.
Our first demonstration was in USM Penang. We we with Akademi Waja Diri. Our Mestre, Mestre Firdaus led the demonstration.
I just hope i can train again. If not for my busted shoulder (injured it trying to nail dual au batido), i would've join the roda again.

It is the best opportunity to promote and expose Capoeira to Penang,
and also an good oppotunity for the students to gain experience!
With just 2 weeks of Training with Professor Parabolica,
Of cause our(Students) level definitely not up to standard.
but with the outstanding finale performance of Professor, the crowd went crazy!
