Bila Modem On Tak Boleh Buka Word & Excel

Tumpang tanya.

Lately, whenever I surf internet (streamyx) bila I need to open Word or Excel, appear "Running Virus Scan" and then system hang .. nak Ctrl-ALt-Delete pun tak boleh.

Tapi kalau I switch off the modem, tak pa pulak ... boleh buka Word & Excel & file2nya.

Kenapa ya?

biasanya virus scanning kejap jer. antivirus apa ko guna?
kadang2 bila kita online, antivirus akan cuba autoupdate, tapi kalau hang tu mungkin a.virus tu dah problem kot.

cuba scan dulu pc tu. scan jugak spyware & adaware.

av dah crash......uninstall dan install baru atau tukar av lain e.g AntiVir, AVG atau NOD32, lepas tu update...try tengok...

yes, my Norton Antivirus dah expire (baru jer).

pls tell me what i should do to renew. boleh renew online?

u can uninstall that norton, simantek komponen and its live update manager. and use free antivirus such as antivir and AVG.

i've uninstalled norton & installed antivir .. and it works !! no more problem opening Word & Excel.
