hey casejulia..

just my 2 cents on the thread by barney50. Err.. is it necessary to close? i was thinking - maybe it's a good point - i mean.. if they perceive christians as such, surely there must be a reason. and i think, hypocrisy does really occur in some christian groups.
maybe we leave it open for christian discussion? (if there are any christians interested in sharing their views, that is).. maybe we can learn together how are we hypocritical.. and how to avoid it?
anyway, just my two cents.. im okay to follow ur lead as moderator.

Well I agree with casejulia action to close the thread.

Although there are some truth in barney's thread but the way he/she presented his points cannot be tolerated. He/She generalized all christians to be hypocrite because of the action of the few.

We can't have everyone making the same kind of thread/post in CC.

Well if barney wants to discuss about hypocrisy in christianity he can do it in porpper way. Not belitteling the christians.
Anyone who is interested to discuz about " hypocrisy", i suggest you guys make a new thread for futher discussion.
