AAA’s Hidaka Mitsuhiro to hold his 1st solo nationwide tour
It’s been revealed that AAA’s Hidaka Mitsuhiro will be holding his first nationwide tour, ‘SKY-HI TOUR 2013: THE FLIGHT‘, under his solo project ‘SKY-HI‘.
The tour will kick off on February 8th at Fukuoka DRUM LOGOS. He will then travel to Osaka and Nagoya with his final show on February 27th at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo. Regarding his long-awaited one-man tour, Hidaka commented, “I will bet my entire life on this live.”
Hidaka launched his solo project at SKY-HI back in 2010. In May of this year, he released his compilation album, “SKY-HI presents FLOATIN’ LAB“, which came in at 25th on Oricon’s weekly ranking (2nd in Indies ranking).

AAA's Hidaka Mitsuhiro to make his solo major debut as SKY-HI

It's been announced that AAA member Hidaka Mitsuhiro will make his solo major debut as rapper SKY-HI with double A-side single "Ai Bloom / RULE" that is set for release on August 7th.
In addition to his activities as a member of AAA, Hidaka has been devoting himself to hip hop music. As SKY-HI, he has appeared in club events frequently, and has already participated in various challenges like MC battles.
Those were considered unofficial activities until 2011 when he got his regular event at a club in Tokyo, and started building his career as a rapper. He also released the compilation album "FLOATIN' LAB" last year, and successfully held his solo one-man tour this past February.
On his blog, SKY-HI wrote, "I was able to achieve a big goal of making a major debut. However, I feel iffy when you ask me if I'm happy about it. I can't be happy until I produce good results. I make this clear that I want to be popular. I do want to become extremely popular. I will do my best."
SKY-HI's major debut single "Ai Bloom / RULE" will have a [CD+DVD] version and a [CD] only version.
