Beliau yg berasal dari Latvia dan hanya tamat darjah empat merupakan seorang yg pintar sebenarnya. Meneruskan hidupnya sebagai Jurutera Elektrik beliau kemudian telah menerbitkan sebanyak 5 buku mengenai Elektrik pada 1945 bertajuk Magnetik Current yg secara tersirat memberitahu rahsianya.
