Nak eksport barang

minta tolong pakar2 kat sini.

Macam ni aku ni baru je start berniaga jadi nak tau macam mana nak eksport barang
Ada prospect tanya FOB, CIF dll. Aku paham yang FOB ni kita bayar sampai ke port klang je. Yang lain pembeli yang bayar. Ni aku boleh buat sendiri ke, tak pun perlu fowarding agent?
CIF ni lak aku kena bayar semua kos sampai la ke port pembeli. Kalau jadi apa2 kat barang tu kira tanggungjawap aku ke?

Lagi satu term of payment selalunya mintak berapa? 20/80, 30/70, 50/50 atau 100%. Aku bercadang nak swift tt je tapi payment lain macam lc, da, dp tu bagus ke?

Minta tolong bagi cadangan untuk fowarding agent yang berkualiti. Makasih

coz each negara lain rules n regulationsnya..

FOB.. Free on board.
CIF.. Cost, insurance and freight.

FOB.. seller arrange sampai atas kapal at port of loading. Freight, insurance etc.. buyer's responsibility.
Title of goods bertukar tangan bila goods are onboard the ship. Apa2 jadi lepas tu buyer tanggung.

CIF.. seller arrange for all, including tambang and insurance sampai port of destination.
Kalau CIF delivered inclusive of taxes.. kena include port clearance charges, taxes etc..
plus transportation to buyer's site.

Payment terms.. bergantung quantum, jenis barang and your confidence level.
Ada yg mintak 100% payment before shipment...

For big shipment.. biasanya guna irrevocable LC.. letter of credit.
Credit is guaranteed by a reputable bank in buyer's country.
Payment will be made based on document, as stated in the LC.
Kat sini nanti the FOB or CIF tu jadi mustahak..
Kalau FOB, biasanya will be based on Bill of Lading
Kalau CIF normally perlukan a signed Delivery Order...

LC pun ada LC at sight.. payment upon presentation of document
or
LC Term.. 30days, 60days, 120days.. after sighting of the document
bank jadi orang tengah for the payment based on the agreed document jer...

yang mudah sekali mintak prepayment jer... selamat
tapi tak tahu whether yr buyer will agree......

since LC ni document based credit
type of document required tu penting...

kalau bleh, choose document yg tak perlukan buyer punya approval or signature..
macam bill of lading or airway bill ke.. instead of a signed DO...

nego laa dgn customer.. LC 30days from date of bill of lading/ airway bill..
ship ajer.. submit bill of lading to bank... 30 days later bank bayar..

kalau based on delivery.. kena tunggu customer terima barang.. sign DO...
hantar DO balik... baru bleh claim from bank...
kalau DO hilang or lambat.. claim pun lambat...

try to minimise doc required for presentation
the lesser the better......
