Bahaya ke cabut gigi geraham?

Assalamualaikum semua,

Gigi geraham sebelum ni pecah sebab gigi bongsu tertolak. Sebab saya rasa berdenyut, dr suruh cabut. Gigi ni kanan bawah. Bila dah cabut, rasa sedihnya hati ni, sebab tinggal 2 je gigi geraham belah kanan bawah. Rasa sedih ni bercampur dengan geram bila terfikir, kenapa dr. tu tak bagitau kesan cabut gigi geraham ni?

Kesan sekarang ni, gigi kunyahan dah kurang fungsi sebab kurang satu. Lepas tu macam kosong situ. Kenapa dia tak suggest rawatan akar je. Takde la cabut pastu kena buat gigi palsu. Ni saya kena buat implant gigi sebab kalau tak nanti terjarang-jarang. Betulka apa yang saya baca ni?

Implant gigi ni ada besi tak akar dia? Saya takut nanti masuk MRI termelekat mulut kat ring MRI tu.. stress tak tau nak buat apa ni. Saya takut pipi kanan jatuh, sebab dah kurang gigi belah kanan. Kira macam tua sebelah muka... Macam-macam fikir sampai masuk mimpi.

Emosi saya tak stabil semasa saya menaip ni, ampunkan saya. Saya pun rasa macam luahan perasan je dalam ni. Suami pon dah bluetick je bila dapat mesej tentang gigi. Mesej lain dia reply..  hurmmmm Tapi, uols nampakkan ada tanda soal sikit2 kat atas tu? Kira tanya soalan jugak la ni.

My gigi geraham pun baru kena cabut sebab dah terbelah 2. Memang tidak boleh diselamatkan.
Memang kena buat implant untuk elakkan bone loss. Memang takda cara lain, kena redha je lah.
In syaa Allah minggu depan nak buat implant. Bedebar2.

Base implant tu dibuat drp titanium. My husband ada 3 implants. Ok je dia,mengunyah

Gigi molar mana yang kena cabut?
Mengikut kata dentist: akan mengambil masa betahun2 untuk bone loss.
Drp pakcik goggle, kalau cabut 2nd molar akan  lama2 akan terjadi bone loss. 1st molar ok lagi.

I dah takda 1st molar. Dah dekat 7 tahun dan Alhamdulillah muka tak sagging pun.

Meols terjumpa topik nie kerana mengalami isu yang sama.

Gigi bawak belah kiri ada hairline crack & doc sarankan gi hospital untuk consultation lanjut. Masih ada rasa sakit di gusi tu tapi taklah berterusan seyelah dentist kat klinik dah bersihkan dulu.

Masih lum tahu nak cqbut atau buat root cabal treatment. Dengar pasal inplant, sangat menakutkan.

Pada forumers yang dah cabut gigi geraham tu, camna kadar sakitnya?
- berapa lama pulih selepas cabut gigi tu?
- kalau inplant camna pulak kadar sakitnya?
- kalau cabut ada  isu bila menggosok gigi?

Let me share my experience.

I dah buat implant pada 27/8/2024. Cabut gigi dan terus tanam implant. Presedur dalam 45 minit. Mula2 dentist inject LA dan cabut gigi.
Sebelum kena injek dan lepas injek tu, I punyalah nervous, Heart  beat tinggi, dlm 138. 2 kali dapat notificatios drp iwatch.
Dentist cabut gigi tak rasa apa2 pun.

Tetapi ...

Sakit bila dia korek2, bersihkan bekas lubang gigi lama dan bila dia screw masukkan implant tu. Punyalah sakit masa dia pulas screw. I angkat tangan kata sakit but dentist kata sikt lagi..sikit lagi.
Lepas tu baru dia inject sekali lagi LA.
Balik rumah, sakit semua muka, rasa hidung dan mata pun sakit. I makan pain killer dalam 3hari. Lepas 1 minggu sakit berkurangan,
Lepas 4 minggu I buat check up, semua luka dah heal.
21/9 tu dentist check lagi dan dah heal sepenuhnya. Buat 3D scanning untuk gigi crown.Now sedang tunggu gigi siap.

For me,  doc specialist at hospital (3rd dentist) dah chek & informed gigi yang ada hairline crack tu for now no need to do anything. The hairline crack is too fine and on the top of the tooth. Since takde sakit, so follow up in 6 mths.  Meols tanya jugak doc, pasal root canal treatment yg the 1st dentist told me, so the 3rd dentist said, no need root canal for now.  Since dah xtray and did some tests, the gigi is fine. Alhamdullillah dah tak de pain.

Mudah-mudahan gigi nie ok after the dentist had did cleaning up the teeth & gums. Sakit after the cleaning up but ok after that. Nasib baik tak dengar  advice the 1st dentist kat pte klinik. Kalau tak kes naya je kena buat root canal treatment

Alhamdulillah, you dapat 2nd opinion.

But from my personal opinion, kalau ada hairline crack, I akan buat inlay/onlay to protect it. So tak risau kalau accidently tergigit benda2 keras.

Also from my experience. My left molar, at first filling lama dah tertanggal. Then the dentist buat balik the filling and dia kata nasib baik takda hair line cracks sebab if ada, lama2 gigi akan terbelah 2.
Then I ask this dentist how about if I buat crown atas gigi ni supaya dia kuat lagi. Dentist kata no need sebab the filling is ok.
A few months after that 3 times, the filling dropped and the last he put a 'stand' to make the filling stronger. 1-2 months after that I eat friend chicken and suddently the filling dropped.
When to see him and he said cannot be saved 'coz already broke into 2. No choice have to be extracted. I did it 1 day before hari raya haji. Alhamdulillah no pain after the extraction.
Now waiting to do another implant to replace this missing tooth.

I did some research and the tooth an be protected by doing the inlay/onlay. Quite regret. I should go to anothe dentist to get 2nd opinion. Last sunday I did RCT to my pre molar. My first dentist said there's no problem with the tooth but I'm getting like preassure pain on and off so I went to see a more experience dentist and he did normal xray and 3 d xray then found the problem.

I do hope after this, there's no more tooth problem. So stressfull.
