Maya is a CIA operative whose first experience is in the interrogation of prisoners following the Al Qaeda attacks on the U.S. of 11 September 2011. She is a reluctant participant in extreme duress applied to the detainees, but believes that the truth may only be obtained through such tactics. For several years, she is single-minded in her pursuit of leads to uncover the whereabouts of Al Qaeda’s leader, Osama Bin Laden. Finally, in 2011, it appears that her work will pay off, and a U.S. Navy SEAL team is sent to kill or capture Bin Laden. But only Maya is confident Bin Laden is where she says he is.

*okay ak dah donlod pelem zero dark thirty versi DVD dan udah tengok...my rebiu kontot...walaopon durasi cukop pjg hampir~ 3jam yang bermotif kan dendam .penantian tentang operasi militari yang di katakan "modern warfare", hnya beerlaku pd 30 minit yang terakhir, aka start slow ends with bang! bang!yang kiter sudah tahu kesudahan episod pelem..iaitu yang kononya,...osama mati ditembak .
cerita 2 jam sebelom nya adalh tentang "sepaak terajang"specialist CIA iaitu Maya yang "kompleks",serta cara2 penderaan,seperti "waterboarded" yang dilaku kan keatas pihak "lawan"dalam sepanjang mengendali case osama laden.
agak2 masuk Malaysia tak? Nampak best dan dikatakan calon favourite untuk menang Best Picture.. Kathryn Bigelow ni ex-wife James Cameron kan?? Dulu dia menang Best Director (first female) dan Best Picture untuk The Hurt Locker.

"Maya"adalah ejen CIA yang tampak tenang, kekadang merasa takut, workaholics, sosok seriusyang misterius, dan jugak emosional. "Maya" mampu membawa anda untuk merasa nyaman pabila kiter disampingnya, selama 2 jam lebeh, dan berjaya nampaknya,dan meyakinkan ak, bahkan sejak awal, bahwa ia adalah jawaban dari seme pertanyaanyang selama ini tercipta. Dan, itu semua berkat,lakonan jessica chastain. Sebuahperforman yang sangkot barang seketol award nanti,yng sangat berkarakter dari chastain.
Chastain, berhasil menjadikkan "Maya" menjaditampak realistik dengan semua karakteristik yang ia miliki diatas.
