UPDATE: CONFIRMED: PLANE SHOT DOWN BY MISSILE WHILE AT CRUISING ALTITUDE

Metrojet stock photo
NO MATTER WHAT THE WHITEWASH IS, THEY WILL NEVER WIGGLE OUT OF THIS ONE
Here is why: The plane, which "suddenly fell like a rock" was cruising at 30,000 feet right before it did, AND BODIES WERE FOUND OVER A FIVE KILOMETER RADIUS. Folks, there is only ONE WAY this can happen, and that is if an intelligent missile sought the plane's center of mass, exploded, and threw bodies in all directions from far far up. That is the only way they could possibly be spread out over a five kilometer radius. A bomb in the cargo bay would have to get a lucky shot to do that, and be absolutely HUGE. Not probable. NO MATTER THE WHITE WASH, CASE CLOSED.
Now Egypt's "ISIS" is claiming responsibility. This means Israel or the U.S. did it. Since this happened within missile strike range of Israel, well, what do you think? This plane had only Russians aboard, which virtually assures it was only important people aboard because normal flights have people from more than one country on them. Who would know that before blowing this plane up? Certainly not ISIS, if ISIS was the rag tag band claimed, they would be clueless about what they were shooting at. How would they bag the perfect Russian aircraft, and where did such a missile come from?
Forget the "engine problem" whitewash, it is unrelated and I looked into this, the crew only had problems starting the engines, once running they were fine and did not have a history of blowing people out of the airplane over a 5 KM radius . . . . . . which would be impossible anyway, an engine is not even able to get shrapnel into the passenger cabin, they are tested for that and France built the aircraft.
A Russian Airbus A321 went off radar while over the sinai peninsula 23 minutes after takeoff with 217 Russian passengers and 7 Russian crew. RT has reported the plane had tourists aboard, but in addition to this the plane had only Russians aboard, which strongly indicates this was a very important aircraft flown out of Egypt for a purpose with important people aboard. Most likely they were either important to Russia's government and/or Russian defense or business, this is the only probable way both the passengers and crew were entirely Russian. If the plane was not flown for a specific official purpose, the passengers would have most likely been of mixed origin.
RT has reported that the crew complained of engine problems before takeoff, and that they requested to land in Cairo, HOWEVER, the crash characteristics match a missile strike and not engine problems for the following reason - obvious complete structural failure of the airframe caused the plane to drop like a rock IN FLAMES after it hit cruising altitude at 30,000 feet. A plane cannot just fall out of the sky from 30,000 feet like this one did unless the wings are missing, if this was an engine failure it would have taken this aircraft a half hour to crash from that altitude, with full dialog from the pilots all the way down.
Instead, radar tracked this plane falling like a rock, with no communication from the pilots while it did so, until it vanished from radar at 5,000 feet and fell in the mountains. There are survivors this time, so there will be stories told if any of them make it. This plane crashed in Egypt, which means the Israelis will be hindered in killing survivors to prevent testimony if they did shoot this plane down.
UPDATE: Early rescue teams heard voices in the main wreckage, but are now reporting no survivors. THAT is suspicious. . . . . For now, Russia is playing it cool saying the plane went down due to an engine failure, but this simply does not wash, if it hit 30,000 feet it could have landed in Israel, Egypt, Jordan and possibly other places before it ran out of altitude, or at worst even in the ocean to improve it's chances if it still had it's wings. This one is suspicious to say the least and I would not doubt Israel did this one to settle a Syria grudge and will remain suspicious no matter what the "official story" ends up being. If the black boxes have bad news aboard, this could easily be the spark that does world war 3. If Israel did shoot this plane down, it will be a wrestling match between Israel and Russia for these black boxes, even if via Israeli infiltrators in Egypt's investigation if Egypt does the investigation. The best possible course is for Russia to get there ASAP and handle this one because no one can be trusted to do this type of investigation anymore. If Israel shot this plane down, it would end up being be another "suicide pilot" story if Russia does not handle this correctly.

The Interstate Aviation Committee said it had set up a special investigative commission after the Russian plane crash. The commission will fly to the scene of the accident together with representatives from Russia’s Emergency Ministry, according to a Committee statement.
15:32 GMT
The Russian Transport Ministry refuted information the Airbus A321 had been shot down by terrorists as “unreliable.”
“Now, different media report… that a Russian passenger airliner on a flight from Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg has been allegedly shot down by an anti-aircraft missile fired by terrorists. This information cannot be regarded as reliable,” said Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov.
“We are in close contact with our Egyptian colleagues and aviation authorities. They currently have no information that could confirm such allegations,” he added.
14:58 GMT
British Prime Minister David Cameron has extended his sympathies to the families and friends of the plane crash victims in his Twitter post.
14:46 GMT
14:44 GMT
Egypt’s security forces have disproved reports a diversion could have caused the Airbus A321 crash.
The Egyptian president expressed his deepest condolences to Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation. The Egyptian leader assured the Russian president his country will give Russia all the necessary assistance in the crash investigation.
14:31 GMT
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has expressed her “sincere condolences” in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
14:26 GMT
The Russian Investigative Committee said it was examining fuel samples from the crashed plane’s last refueling stop in the Russian city of Samara.
14:25 GMT
Investigators are carrying out searches in Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport after the plane crash in Sinai. Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin also confirmed searches had been made at Kolavia's headquarters.
Another probe into “provision of services that do not meet security requirements” has been launched over the plane crash, Markin added.
13:39 GMT
According to Egypt's security forces, as cited by Reuters, a technical fault was to blame for the crash.
Search and rescue teams are finding bodies in a radius of up to 5km (3.1 miles) from the crash site. Approximately 150, some burnt, have been pulled out of the wreckage so far.
The sources say the aircraft took almost a vertical trajectory as it plummeted down. Large parts of the fuselage burned in the process.
13:34 GMT
Police are currently at Kolavia's headquarters, collecting the necessary documentation to proceed with the investigation.
13:16 GMT
Kolavia believes human error was not behind the Saturday crash, according to RIA Novosti. The plane had been fully serviced and the pilot was an experienced one, with 12,000 hours under his belt.
13:02 GMT
Airbus will offer any and all technical assistance to investigators and aviation authorities, it said in a statement.

Sinai plane crash: 'No SOS call' before disaster
4 hours ago
From the section Middle East
![](http://ichef-1.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpsprodpb/E738/production/_86429195_86429194.jpg)
One Egyptian official said the plane suddenly "disappeared off the radar"
A Russian aircraft did not lodge an SOS call before crashing in Sinai, killing all 224 people on board, Egypt's civil aviation minister says.
Initial reports from Egypt said the pilot of the Kogalymavia airline had asked to make an emergency landing.
But minister Hossam Kamal said there had been no sign of any problems on board the flight.
Lufthansa and Air France-KLM said they would avoid the route while the cause of the crash was investigated.
A claim by a group allied to the so-called Islamic State (IS) in Sinai that it brought down the plane has been dismissed by Russia and Egypt.
The Airbus A-321 came down early on Saturday, shortly after leaving Sharm el-Sheikh for the Russian city of St Petersburg.
Russian authorities say the plane was carrying 217 passengers, including 25 children. There were seven crew members on board.
Egyptian officials had said 214 of the passengers were Russian and four Ukrainian, but Russian officials said at least one of the victims was from Belarus.
On Saturday morning, Egyptian aviation official Ayman el-Mokadem, who the country's media say is heading an investigation into the crash, said flight KGL9268 had asked to land early because of a technical failure.
But Mr Kamal told a press conference this was not the case.
"Up until the crash happened, we were never informed of any faults in the plane, nor did we receive any SOS calls," he said.
All contact with air traffic control had been normal, and pre-flight checks showed no problems, he added.

Egypt's civilian aviation ministry said the plane had been at an altitude of 9,450m (31,000ft) when it disappeared.
Security experts say a plane flying at that altitude would be beyond the range of a shoulder-launched surface-to-air missile (Manpad), which Sinai militants are known to possess.
Wreckage was found in the Hasana area of Sinai and the plane's two black box recorders were removed, Mr Kamal said. One of the instruments logs cockpit recordings and the other registers flight data.
German carrier Lufthansa said it would avoid flying over the Sinai peninsula "as long as the cause for today's crash has not been clarified". On Saturday evening, Air France-KLM said it was following suit.
British Airways and easyJet said their routes were regularly reviewed, but that they had no plans to alter their routes to and from Sharm el-Sheikh.
Sinai has an active militant network, and on Saturday afternoon, jihadis allied to IS made a claim on social media that they brought down flight KGL9268.
Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov told Interfax news agency that "such reports cannot be considered true". No evidence had been seen that indicated the plane was targeted, he said.
This hotel near St Petersburg airport has become a gathering point for relatives of those on flight 9268. There are medics here to help them, and we saw an Orthodox priest. Some have been giving DNA samples, to try to identify their loved ones.
In the lobby, men from the investigative committee are huddled over files and phones - beside cabinets full of souvenirs. For some reason, riot police are patrolling the corridors too.
Occasionally, someone emerges red-eyed from the room where officials are passing on what information and answers they can to relatives. But it's still impossible to say why this happened.
A spokeswoman for the airline says the pilot was experienced, the Airbus plane had been through all its safety checks. But there are a lot of people here with urgent questions about why their friends and relatives are not safely home tonight after a holiday in the Egyptian sun.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared Sunday a day of mourning.
He has ordered an official investigation into the crash, and a commission headed by Mr Sokolov left for Egypt on Saturday afternoon.
The office of Egypt's prime minister said 129 bodies had so far been recovered and were taken to Cairo.
One un-named official described a "tragic scene" with bodies of victims still strapped to seats.
The plane appeared to have split in two, he told Reuters, with one part burning up and the other crashing into a rock.

05:58 Egyptian time (03:58 GMT): flight leaves Sharm el-Sheikh, the Egyptian cabinet says in a statement
06:14 Egyptian time (04:14 GMT): plane fails to make scheduled contact with air traffic control based in Larnaca, Cyprus, according to Sergei Izdolsky, an official with Russia's air transport agency.
06:17 Egyptian time, approx (04:17 GMT): plane comes down over the Sinai peninsula, according to Airbus
11:12 Egyptian time (09:12 GMT): flight had been due to land in St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport
A criminal case had been opened against Kogalymavia for "violation of rules of flight and preparation for them", Russia's Ria news agency reported.
Oksana Golovin, a spokeswoman for the airline, said the company did not see any grounds to blame human error.
She told a press conference that the pilot had 12,000 hours of flying experience. Kogalymavia did not yet know what caused the crash, she said, but the plane was "fully, 100% airworthy".
Police have searched the company's offices.
Mikael Robertsson from flight tracking service Flight Radar 24: ''This was something more than a planned diversion''
Mikael Robertsson, from the live flight tracking service Flight Radar 24, told the BBC that the plane started to drop very quickly, losing 1,500 metres in one minute before coverage was lost.
Local weather observations near the rescue scene suggest relatively benign conditions.

WATCH: Chilling video that could prove ISIS DID shoot down Russian jet, killing 224 people
ISLAMIC STATE have released a chilling video, which may be proof that the terror group did shoot down the Russian plane causing it to crash and kill all 224 people on board.
By REBECCA PERRING
PUBLISHED: 10:29, Sun, Nov 1, 2015 | UPDATED: 11:58, Sun, Nov 1, 2015
The barbaric terrorists last night claimed to have downed the Airbus A-321 jet in revenge for Russian air strikes in Syria - but how they could have carried out the deadly act remains a mystery.
However dramatic footage has now emerged online, which purports to show the final moments of the doomed airliner as it falls through the air, before it appears to explode and engulfs into a ball of smoke and flames.
Egypt’s North Sinai is home to a two-year-old Islamist insurgency and militants who support Islamic State have killed hundreds of Egyptian soldiers and police in recent months.
But officials in Cairo and Moscow were quick to quash any possible link to terrorism in the tragedy, which was one of the deadliest plane crashes in the past decade.
And the co-pilot allegedly complained to his family that the aircraft's condition "left much to be desired" shortly before the doomed flight took off.

The video purports to show the jet's final moments
Early reports said it split into two and that suggests a catastrophic failure, not a mechanical failure, but perhaps an explosion on board
Professor Michael Clarke
The aircraft, which was was flying from the Egyptian resort of Sharm El-Sheikh destined for the Russian city of St Petersburg, was said to have split in half mid-air scattering debris and bodies over a wide area in remote Sinai, Egypt.
Burnt corpses were found 3.1 miles away from the crashed aircraft, and this morning search and rescue teams recovered the body of a three-year-old girl some five miles from the crash scene.
So far, only 163 bodies of 214 Russian passengers and three Ukrainians, have been recovered, which has resulted in search and rescue teams expanding their search perimeter to nine miles.
It comes as officials said the jet, operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia, did not lodge an SOS call before its quick descent.
Professor Michael Clarke, Director General of the Royal United Services Institute, said the jet may have been destroyed by a bomb on the aircraft.

People lay flowers and toys at an entrance of Pulkovo airport
He said: "This aircraft was 200km north of its take-off zone, that means it was flying at around 31,000 feet. Terrorists, as far as we know, don’t have equipment to take down an aircraft at that height.
"Early reports said it split into two and that suggests a catastrophic failure, not a mechanical failure, but perhaps an explosion on board.
"So I would be much more inclined to think, if we have to guess at this stage, it is much more likely to have been a bomb on board than a missile fired from the ground.
"And there’s no sign of a distress call, so the idea that the aircraft was undergoing an mechanical problem, or an engine problem, or a fire, or something like that, you would expect that there would be some sort of distress call beforehand."
Last month Moscow launched a bombing campaign against the twisted terror group, which controls vast swathes of Syria and has forced thousands of people to flee the country.
Vladimir Putin's bid to wipe out ISIS has been so successful that almost a million Syrians are elected to return to their homeland.

Caught! McCain Plotted Airline Attack 1 Day Before Russia Crash
Posted on November 1, 2015 by Sean Adl-Tabatabai in Bizarre // 0 Comments
![](http://cdns.yournewswire.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/mccain-russia-aircrash-900x350.jpg)
The Ukrainian Wikileaks website leaked a transcript showing that Senator John McCain had plotted the crash of a plane over Syria, and had planned on blaming it on the Russians – just one day before the Russian passenger plane crashed over the Sinai Peninsula.
Below is a transcript of the plans that were allegedly made, along with information as to who each of the people in the transcript are:
![](http://cdns.yournewswire.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/1.jpg)
“M.”: Mikhail Saakashvili, ex-president of Georgia, Odessa region governor
![](http://cdns.yournewswire.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/2.jpg)
“K.”: David Kezerashvili – former head of financial police and minister of defense of Georgia. Wanted for embezzling state funds
![](http://cdns.yournewswire.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/3.jpg)
“G”: Anton Gerashenko – people’s deputy of Ukraine in faction “People’s Front”, secretary of Verkhovnaya Rada committee on issues of legal basis of law enforcement. Advisor to the minister of interior, Arsen Avakov, resident agent of US special services
“R.”: Ramzan Machelikashvili – cousin of Ruslan Machelikashvili, infamous field commander of Islamic State, callsign Seyfullakh. Commander of special anti-aircraft unit, received special training in the ATO zone. Anti-aircraft specialist sent to Syria.
M. Let him come in!
M. Sit down, David! Everything should be done on time, as we discussed. You understand the importance of everything! Wait a second, I will turn on anti-surveillance.
McCain confirmed the plan, everything is in place so you know. We got cover from the US Senate. In Syria, Russians must be hit, or else if Russians and Americans fundamentally agree, they will really dump Ukraine. Donbass is on conservation, project Transnistria is suspended. If it goes on, we are done! We should speed things up in Syria!
Have you prepared our guys?
K: Yes, everything is done. Today, they fly to Antalya and then go to Syria.
They received good training and will tear everything with their spirit. These are our Kistintsy (Georgian Chechens living in the Pankisi Gorge in Georgia), tough guys. Ramzan Machelikashvili was appointed a commander, all four obey him. They shoot from all weapons, they are anti-aircraft professionals. They are waiting for specific instructions.
M. Give Ramzan this phone number and cell phone. Upon arrival it is necessary to send a message, there is Warren’s man from the CIA, he will greet and take the guys. Turks are warned and will let them through. In short, this agent of Steve Warren knows everything and speaks Russian. After, Ramzan should give him this phone.
M. Yes, yes, will turn it off.
K. It’s all clear, but what about equipment and weapons?
M. Wait, wait! I have to pick up the call from Gerashchenko .
M. Hello Anton! Our guys are leaving today. Is it all ready?
G. Mr. Mikhail Nikolayevich! It is loud over there!
G. Now I can hear! Avakov (Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine) transported everything, there are five anti-aircraft [PZRK – rus.] “Willow” [Verba” – rus.] and “Needle S” [“Igla S” – rus.], full ammunition and equipment. Large anti-aircraft guns are on the road. As soon as they pass the border, your chieftain, what’s his name, Ash-Shushani will meet them, the guys will be on the case.
M. Excellent! Excellent! Well, talk to you later.
M. David! All you need is already in place and when they cross the border they will get everything. There they will be greeted by Tarhan Batirashvili. You know who he is? He has great influence in the Islamic State, all Chechens pass through him, his nickname is Ash-Shushani. Also Ramzan’s cousin, Ruslan Machelikashvili will also meet them. He is a ruthless thug, Americans told me.
So, the whole group will be in Latakia, in the Al-Nusra zone, the goal is to shoot down American plane. They will get flight information, there is a local Kurd there for that. The plan is turning out very cool! American plane will be shot down by Russian military. This will be told by the Prisoner, that the target was shot down from PZRK. The scene will be amusing, the whole world will talk about it.
After this group will go to Hasaka, it is a city near the Kurds and there they will destroy a Kurdish village, the Russians will do everything. In return, the Kurds will shoot down a Russian plane with Stingers. The goal is to pit the Americans and Russians in Syria. The Turks will be grateful, they promise to rouse the Crimean Tatars.
After it is done in Syria, you will see, if Americans don’t bring troops to Ukraine and all our projects will begin operating. McCain is waiting for our actions. Otherwise, Obama will not raise his ass, elections are coming soon and he will do nothing. You see, Poroshenko also began to wag his tail in front of Putin.
C. I don’t know, Misha! It’s your plans, you know better. I’ll explain everything to the guys and will send them on the way. It’s great that Tarhan Batirashvili will meet them, he knows how to fight and will supervise everything. At one time I accepted him into the Army. His mother is Kistinka, and a Georgian father.
M. What I said, do in time, give each one of the five $10 thousand. Give $20,000 to Tarhan’s father in Ahmet.
K. I already paid the guys, and my people will pass $20 thousand to Tbilisi.
Machelikashvili is waiting in the reception, want to have a couple words with him?!
M. Sure!
Sveta! There’s a man with a beard who came with David, named Ramzan, let him in.
S. Of course, Mikhail Nikolayevich
M. How are you Ramzan! How are things?
R. Batono Misha! We are ready to execute all the tasks.
M. Very good! The peace in the whole world depends on you! I and Dato will support you and your families in everything.
R. Thank you very much. David is very helpful. After completing the tasks in Syria, we will bring you back to Georgia, this is our next task. We will blow up the entire Georgia, if necessary!
M. Thank you Ramzan, this time will come, but for now we should take care of Ukraine. Dato will explain, everything is ready. Our guys will meet, Ruslan is your cousin, Aslan Margoshvili, Tarhan Batirashvili and others. You will be in good hands. Say hello to the guys and be careful. Take care of yourself.
R. You make me feel better, Misha batono. I did not know that the brother will meet, we will do everything 100%. I thought Tarhan died, I heard he was blown up along with El-Baghdadi. Insha Allah, he is alive.
M. Ramzan, take it! This is a dagger from me.
R. May Allah protect you, batono Misha! We will not disgrace ourselves and do everything, I swear to you!
K. Ok, Ramzan, wait in the waiting room, I will come out soon!
M. Ramzan is a tough man, right?! Tell me, are the Swiss accounts already available ?!
K. The court has closed my cases and the accounts are available, just need to submit documents to the bank. Adeishvili was very helpful. His guys did everything at the court. I sent them some, and will have to send more.
M. Kama still has to be paid. You said that you transferred the shares to Kakha’s people [Kaladze, Minister of Energy of Georgia] and it was closed. What is f#cken wrong with everyone to throw my money away like that!
K. Don’t yell! I told you, 35% I gave from the port and oil infrastructure. From gas I gave 10%, and added 10% for Bezhuashvili. Otherwise they didn’t agree. And in court they did everything, for Meishvili, Shavliashili and Levna Murusidze I must send fifty, I gave nothing to them yet, first just to pay the judges who were on my case. I told you everything in advance. If not, I would get a judgement like Ugulava, and would block access to the accounts.
M. F#ck their mother, b#tch! This f#cking Magis sold Kolomoisky the video. Penguin caught it and they posted the frames with Bacho f#ggots. For this reason, all the planned actions had to be stopped, against Gazprom and in defense of Rustavi 2. I said a thousand times, remove this Kardav or pay the money to this bastard. Ilham too can be offended and cut off our debt in SOCAR. It must be solved somehow. When are you going to Zurich?
K. I will send our guys, tomorrow I’ll go to Kiev and from there to Switzerland. After going to Baku, there I will tackle SOCAR issues.
M. Watch out for our Pankisi guys, so they are happy. This is the most important thing right now. As soon as we pit Moscow and Washington, then smoothly will move to Kiev. Ok, later!
M. Wait, wait. Glad I remembered! Tina asked, in Sagarejo, that her relative needs help with elections. Our guys are doing everything, and Tina will involve the military but Azersky Muganlo is crucial. Our deputy, Azik, he will contact you and when you will arrive to Baku, he will come, give him the money to bribe Muganloisk muftis. Also ask the Baku elite, to help me in this regard. There is a bitch Iniashvili, she should not win elections, California Senators support her, but I don’t care.
Do you understand what to do ?! Prior to going to Kiev meet with Adeishvili, and he will explain all the details.
K. Yes, let Zura explain everything, there are so many things, I can get lost, I need his help.
M. Good. As soon as you send the guys, let me know, I have to inform McCain, he is waiting!
K. Ok, Misha! I must go, a lot to do.

Russian Airbus A321 crash: external strike, technical fault ruled out

Technical fault, human error and an impact from outside have all been excluded as possible causes of the tragic crash of Russian Airbus A321 that went down on Saturday in Egypt.
The 18-year old aircraft operated by Metrojet disappeared from air-traffic control radars 23 minutes after take-off, killing 224 people aboard, most of them returning from holidays in Sharm el-Sheikh.
The cause of the crash of the St Petersburg-bound plane remains unknown. After a preliminary investigation of the jet’s recovered black boxes, an investigator told Reuters the plane was not struck from outside, but declined to give further details.
According to Russian officials, the plane broke up mid-air before crashing down on the Sinai Peninsula.
"The plane was in excellent condition," Alexander Smirnov, deputy general director of Kogalymavia which owns the Metrojet brand, said during a press conference in Moscow. "We rule out a technical fault and any mistake by the crew."
According to Russian media, the crew recently passed medical tests and the plane’s engines - manufactured by the International Aero Engines consortium - had undergone inspection in Moscow on October 26 2015, which didn’t indicate any problems.
The aircraft had received a certificate of airworthiness earlier this year from regulators in Ireland, where it was registered.
Smirnov said there had been no emergency call from the pilots to services on the ground during the flight.
According to Egypt’s Civil Aviation Ministry, the plane’s track was lost when it was at the altitude of 9,400m. Sweden-based flight-tracking service FlightRadar24 said its data suggest the jet was rapidly descending before losing contact with the ground.
The A321, a medium-haul jet, has a good safety record. The destroyed plane has been operated by Metrojet since 2012 and had 56,000 flight hours combined from nearly 21,000 flights.
According to Russian media, Russian transport prosecutors have already examined the quality of the fuel used by the airliner and found that it met necessary requirements.
Russian and French aviation experts are cooperating with the Egyptians on the investigation and examination of the black boxes.
An Egyptian militant group affiliated with the Islamic State said on Saturday that it had brought down the plane, but experts have doubted the veracity of the claims as Islamic militants are believed not to own missiles capable of hitting a plane at a cruising altitude.
Russia and other former Soviet republics have poor air safety records, notably on domestic flights. Some accidents have been blamed on the use of ageing aircraft, but industry experts point to other problems, such as poor crew training and lax government controls.
