Let’s face it! Not all sellers are successful. This apply to any niche, products, services.

Here’s a few points to ponder about:

Beliefs

What you believe will determine your action and eventually your success. There are agents which think the products are cheap, there are also agents which think the prices are expensive. Guess which agents sell more?

While we are not the cheapest for some products, we believe the prices are very reasonable. If you do not believe that you can sell, most probably you wont.

Comparing back to study times, if you don’t think that you can get an A for a subject, most of the times that’s true =)

Mindset

Most agents are not thinking as a business owner.

If you are serious in making sales, take initiative to read more on all the aspects needed to improve yourself. This include product knowledge and marketing.

How many hours are you spending a day on this business?
How are your brand diff than other agents?

Only agents that stands out will sell. Here’s an example, Harvey Norman, Giant, Senheng are all selling electronic items. Depending on the customers, they will prefer different shops to buy. You don’t have to be the cheapest for sales which is a misconception of most agents.

Is 7-11 the cheapest convenience shop?
Is Harvey Norman the cheapest electronic shop?
Is Ikea the cheapest furniture shop?

The main question will be, why should customers buy from you?

If your answer is because you are cheap, no offense but you are most likely to fail, unless you have money to burn like Uber.

Start small, learn fast

Unfortunately, most agents are greedy and try to upload every single products that is available. By doing this, they think that they can maximise their reach. Most of the time, this doesnt happen.

Will you still get sales? Maybe. Is this the best way to sell? Definitely no.


Start from 1-2 brands first and learn how to sell a product.

What are the benefits?
Why should your customer buy the products?
Is the picture attractive?
What about descriptions?
Why should they buy from you?

Keep experimenting until you find success. Then replicate whatever is working fast!

Consistency

Last but not least, be consistent.

“Rome is not built in 1 day”

There’s no shortcut to hard work. You need to build credibility & trust to your customers. Make sure you have a proper schedule for your strategies.

Still ader good poin dalam statement sistur tu...Pokchik setuju....dropshipper or agen...mesti ada feel yg servis/product/material yg diaorang niaga tu as good as diorang punya own produk dan bisnis. Baru la motived nak all out.

exactly, agents or dropshipper mesti ada knowledge..main hentam xboleh juga nnt buang masa je bayar fees and so on. Motivasi penting bukan hanya bab poligami but business...more money.. paling awesome when u work hard for it. I xnakla buat business besar besar i like small scale je.

eh trading is also similar and making money, low risks and if kena gaya product boleh generate 20k

ada seller jual bengkung sajat je earning 15k...i pun mcm ye ye je but its true

Well, kaka suka trial and error...pernah jual handbag tapi rugi pernah jual handphone kena tipu...hahahha tapi xserikla

Sis pernah jd dropship jual tee polo je, ambil di perlis... semua online je. Dapat jual 2k helai tee and boleh tahanla dpt m but that was one time and for all. Now berlambak tee polo.

Look forward something else. we should go for product yg simple yet demand sentiasa ada.

Since i like to try and find out sendiri. I sendiri x caya masa fb ads baru baru and online by fb ni..i jual baju raya memain je...i dpt almost 8k. Tu pun bukan i jual ..agent jual ..i amek untung selai rm15 to rm8 je...tugas i make sure brg sampai...but now i x sure if jual via fb still good

Nice motivation. Nak handle agent pun sbenrnya payah kan. I ada few whatsapp group under same biz, with different objectives la. Leader2/admin mainkan peranan penting utk share info2 n motivational input utk ahli group. Setakat ni i mmg tk complaint byk group  sbb again objectives  lain2.

On handling agents, i came across sistem2 utk handle agents ni. Tp tk pay attention  pun sbb xberkaitan  sgt ngn i sbb i'm still ordinary  agent. I dok follow komuniti  IM malaysia  ni tu yg tau mcm2 hehe
