Did anyone of you ever experienced full blown anger in a split second and regret later?
I had an argument with my neighbor a few months back and out of control my anger blew up and I @#$% him.
I regreted what I did but it turned out to be blessing in disguise. Condition was much better after that.

PS. I was glad that I did not carry my Mjolnir at that time.

A moment of rage can also be a moment when you need to make a stand...
you have enough of something...in terms of a bully, sometimes it's better for
you to show anger...some situations can be considered as a dynamite situation
or where a person waves a red flag to a bull...

I did it recently, stand up in a moment of rage...well, I got an apology complete
with an admittance of guilt...you just need to know how to channel that rage...

About my Chinese neighbor. During their prayers, they burnt a lot of prayer papers and huge joss sticks. The smoke and sahes were blown into my house and the compound. They were doing it very regular as tho they are operating a temple. The smoke stained my clothes which were put out to dry.
The most frustrating part was after washing my car, they start their prayer. My car would then covered with snow where there is no winter in Malaysia. It had been going on for more than a year and I was tolerating it.

One morning, I smelt burning smell in my bedroom. I looked out the window and by the beard of Odin, I thought it was haze from Indonesia. I went down to check my car and I tot it was ice age, the climate had changed. I couldn't take it anymore and I confronted my neighbor. I asked him politely if he could cover his metal container which he placed the papers to burn as the smoke and ashes were polluting my house. "I can't do anything, it is blown by the wind", he said repeatedly. He kept on blaming the wind as he stared at he. My adrenalin shot up and I f#*@ him.

After the incidence, I have never seen him polluting the air again. Good for the ozone layer. No more global warming.

i hav to admit that i have d worst temper and mood swing in my family.
dun worry, when i'm angry and pissed off, its for a reason so i seldomly regret....

1. i loath my aunties so much i didnt go back during raya nowadays, and i even went oversea to avoid them.  (my dad's side)

2. last year i told my groupmate to f@^$ off because her wishy washyness dragged everyone's grade, and i never saw her again.

i know, it sounded extreme but really, some people just ride you off d wall......

rage is the sword of odin

if one analysed carefully, rage is summoning of courage ,courage being built up unconsciously and one will wonder where have this sword been all this time when u need it, actually it is likened to a sleeping giant

kalo sapa tenguk incredible hulk , ada mentioning pasal gamma ray etc. and thru rage the scientist transform himself

it is quite true and scientifically documented, mostly in CRITICAL MOMENT, one will be able to do things normally only superman or superhero can do like moving very heavy object , falling down hundreds of metre and not get hurt etc.

it is a bit like LASER beam, the energy being focused far too long, and need to be channeled out

i would say running amuck is another part of raging moment, the way random massacre is being committed

depending how good one's self control though, otherwise the rage is simply bring u disaster

The moment of rage.............??

You know, I grew up not having seen people quarrelling. When I saw/hear people beginning to talk daggers I would make a beeline home. However, as an adult I have felt anger and frustrations and I found it difficult to dissipate it. I did not know what words to use ...........mind you ...swear words were a no-no as I was growing up. Then I learnt to count 10 or more if necessary and then later to istirghfar or the likes. Friends say that I am a very calm person........

GTG for now. Got to see a sick uncle at the hospital. Will continue later.

OK...continuation....

So......people do react differently when they are enraged......some may become the HULK, some explode..........and so on. Lately when faced with flashes of what "injustices" have been done unto me, I have become a little more vocal................

me jenis pendam,
lama lama sikit...surut la tu ...

but if perkara tu berlaku berulang-ulang kali,
dalam masa short time intervals sampai i dont have enough time to "dilute" it,
and if kadar irritation tu melebihi kadar me releasing the stress,
then i'll probably blow up - which is better, sebab it'll last only for a few seconds and i usually ended up regretting ..
or it could be worse, i wont say anything .. but i'll probably "cut" you off from my life terus ..

i had.. once.. succumb to my rage. i hit my cousin on her head repeatedly, i became this stranger whom i have never known before, and everyone was aware i was overboard.. my grandma was crying, my husband was holding be back tightly..

and.. i regret it afterwards.. told my cousin (she was like my own sis) i'm really sorry.. mmmm
