The Codex Gigas (English: Giant Book) is the largest extant medieval manuscript in the world[1]. It was created in the early 13th century in the Benedictine monastery of Podla瀒ce in Bohemia, and is now preserved at the National Library of Sweden in Stockholm.[1] It is also known as the Devil's Bible due to a large illustration of the devil on the inside and the legend surrounding its creation.

The Codex Gigas contains five long texts as well as a completeBible. The manuscript begins with the Old Testament, and it is followedby two historical works by Flavius Josephus who lived in the firstcentury AD. These are The Antiquities and The Jewish War.
After Josephus is the most popular Encyclopaedia of the middle ages,by Isidore, who lived in the sixth century in Spain. This is followedby a collection of medical works, and these are followed by the NewTestament.
The last of the long works is a Chronicle of Bohemia by Cosmas fromPrague (ca 1045-1125). This is the first history of Bohemia andimportant work.
There are also some short texts in the manuscript. The first, before the picture of the Heavenly City, is a work on penitence. The second, after the Devil portrait, is on exorcising evil spirits. The last important short work is a Calendar,containing a list of saints and local Bohemian persons on the days onwhich they were commemorated. There is also one lost work, on leavesthat have been cut out of the manuscript, the Rule of St Benedict, theessential guide to monastic life written in the sixth century.
The most important book of Christianity is the Bible.The other texts in the Codex Gigas were carefully chosen to accompanyit because together they provided information about Jewish history (Josephus), universal knowledge (Isidore), medicine, and local history (Cosmas

aku tgk smalam. ala ni slah sebuah buku ajaran sesat dalam kristian. biasa je bagi aku. bible dorg pun mmg dah sesat. so x plu heran la. x da special kecuali ada 1 gambar setan yang agak besar

ni himpunan kitab2 dunia

pada suatu hari, ado sorang paderi nih, dio keno hukum untuk dikurung seumor hidop sbg balasan ataih kesalahan dio, jadi dio berjanji utk menulih semua isi ilmu pengetahuan di donia ini dalam masa semalaman saja untuk membebaskan diri dari hukoman.tengah sibok2 menulih nuh, dio sedaq, bahawa dio memang tak sempat...jadi dio juai jiwa dio dokat iblis supayo iblis tolong dio tulih semua ilmu kitab2 dunia dalam maso semalaman tuh....al hasil, jadilah kitab iblis nih, yg menulih kitab2 yahudi-kristian,ilmu2 tabib dan magic bagai don gan gaya bahaso iblis

kalo x pasal setan..xwujudnya punya bible..
dan pengikut nya bodoh2 belaka dr kacamata hidayah..
dr kacamata korg mngkin cerdik..sbb salah seorg pengikut bible ialah geoge bush...
