masih tercari2 idea untuk wujudkan taman di balkoni rumah tinggi... kena tgk yg sesuai dan selamat juga... gambar2 kat sini saya cari di internet atau snap kat mana2.. bukan dari rumah saya sbb balcony rumah masih kosong lagi... forumer lain jugak dialu-alukan menepek gambar atau idea berkaitan taman di balcony apartment yg dirasakan sesuai... thanks all... selamat berkongsi..

kalau tak der anak kecik..boleh la tanam pokok dlm pots cam nih... arrangement : pokok yg rendah mesti di depan... seelokeloknya letak dlm kiraan ganjil..make sense kan, gambar pun kita gantung dlm kiraan ganjil

hanging basket and flower pouch

annuals are the very best flowers for hanging planters of all sorts—wall or fence-mounted pouches, hanging baskets . . . annual flowers grow fast, are extremely colorful, really durable, and seed germination is simple—they’re perfect for patio gardening or any small space garden.
Hanging Baskets come in all shapes and sizes. Mesh baskets can be lined with sphagnum peat moss or coconut mats to make sure the soil doesn’t dribble out. Both are porous enough to allow water drainage.

Flower Pouches have also become popular lately. Though they look awful at first, once the flowers take hold, these can produce a cascade of blooms against an otherwise stark, bare wall or fence.
Hanging Baskets and Flower Pouches both benefit from adding water gel crystals to the soil mix. Saves on watering.

Security Issues:
Secure the baskets either to the “ceiling” of your site, or by special wall brackets you can buy at your nursery. Just make very, very sure the weight of the basket can be supported by the chain and the bracket. Very important! You can add larger screws if you need to.
The same goes for the pouches—just make sure you use the materials sold with the pouch to attach it to the wall or fence.

emmm...gantung pokok kat rumah tinggi ni faktor security atau keselamatan tu yg paling penting.. jangan fikir cantik dan jimat jer... kena invest untuk security gak... kalau pokok jatuh ke bawah kena kepala orang... masyaAllah.. tak leh nak bayang... sadly ..benda penting macam ni org malaysia selalu tak ambil kisah sangat..

Hangout under your hanging planter

pokok gantung tak semestinya mesti ditanam dgn pokok yg rimbun sarat bunga baru nampak cantik. perkara yg penting skali bila nak gantung bunga ialah tentukan arah mana kita nak lihat pokok tersebut. kita nak lihat dari sisi ker atau dari bawah ker... lagi satu kalau kita gantungkan pokok tu, mungkin motif kita ialah bila orang lalu kat depan rumah dia akan nampak pokok tergantung yg cantik, so kita kenalah positionkan pokok tu supaya nampak cantik bila dilihat dari jalan.. hahahaa

Great Tips for Planting Hanging Baskets:
If you want your baskets to be planted on the sides as well as on top, try these planting ideas:

Line the basket with sphagnum moss. Don’t use coconut matting for this since you’ll need to cut through the moss.
Inside the basket, you can put a plastic liner (use black or dark green) to further guard against soil loss.
Cut slits in through the moss and liner at intervals around the basket. This is where the little plants will go.
Remove your plants and slot them through the holes—make very sure all the root ball goes well inside the basket since that’s where the soil and its nutrients will be. You can wrap the plant lightly in plastic to make a tube—as with the pouches, this sometimes this helps get it through the holes. It’s tougher to go from the inside out, though, since there are two layers.
Fill with potting soil laced with time-release fertilizer and water gel crystals (if you wish), and add the plantings to the top. Water, hang, and you’re good to go!

Gardening Tip:

If you want to make a full hanging planter globe, plant two baskets on the sides only (not on top). Put a board on top of one of the baskets and upend it over the other one, making a globe. Remove the board and wire the two halves together. Watering can be a challenge (also watch the weight), but boy these are really pretty when they’re fully flowered out!
