Probably of meteoric origin, the stone is reputed to have been given to Ishmael by the angel Gabriel. Why would angel Gabrial give this stone in the shape of a Lingam to Ishmael? Did you ponder over it? The Muslims are afraid of the truth because they feel they too would be called pagans. If there was no significant to it Mohammed should have removed the stone which was once an idol of worship for the pagan Arabs. But no, he did not do that instead he placed it in a north east corner wttached to the cubical kaaba where the Muslim pilgrims would be able to touch and kiss it with love. See where it leads to my friend. |

not upset but dissapointed that. its like talking to a wall. we dont pray to the stone. we pray to god. the stone was part of kabah and as a tradition, muhammad (p) puts it back after the flood. kabah is man-made and so the putting of stone and the activities related to it is manmade. as much as you see individuals kissing the stone, there are millions more who dont. its the same as the zam-zam water. no amount of zam-zam water will heal your sickness if you dont take care of your health. and none of the muslims i know ever mentioned that they pray to the stone. and none of the forumners here ever admit that they pray to the stone. but still you keep on alleging the muslims pray to the stone.
what else could i do to make you understand that... |

What a dirty minded individual, doesn't know the difference between a Yoni and the Hajr al-Aswad. It just so happens that the covering of the Stone is oval-shaped..the actual stone is ROUND. BTW, we don't "lick" the Hajr al-Aswad, we kiss it. And it is not even required to do that on the Hajj.
BTW, why dont you advise your Jewish pals not to kiss A BLANK WALL in Jerusalem? As a matter of fact, since Jesus was a Jew, obviously he would have also KISSED the wall as well had he been around today.

hm.. using IE, i don't have problems editing my own posts - in fact i just did that for one of my posts in the thread 'Jesus on ass'.
But yeah - i do have a problem with Firefox - i can't even LOGIN using Firefox - i get directed to their survey results page even when i try to submit my username and password..
dunno about other browers though - i don't have every browser installed on my computer.. |
