kalau sis pernah tengok air crash investigasi mesti pernah come across kesah flight yg glide sampai selamat mendarat di airport terdekat sis.
so yes, ianya mampu untuk glide guna APU pesawat??
range APU itu jua yg memain kan peranan penting route pesawat?
setahu kakak route laluan akan di buat berdasarkan nearest airport yg boleh di capai sesuatuh pesawat jikalau emergency??

bukan kah regulasi kena ada reserve untuk emergency?
akak khuatir sis buat fitnah jah.

kalau airport tak benar mendarat sebab katup atas sebab2 tertentu maksud sis pesawat AA akan mendarat kat mana2 tanah lapang/laut jah? sebba tak de fuel left nak  detour ke nearest airport?

aku pun selalu naik flight ..but  lepas kes2 airplane crash lately, mmg agak 'takut' nak naik flight ...

time bertenang itu la yg akan jadi kecelakaan
so the best option berkuntum jah kat rumah tunggu malaikat maut cabut nyawa masa cikcur kat rumah tengok sinetron jah.
tak payah nak pening2 kan sis?

kiranya pilot airasia ala2 semua tunggu masa untuk mati jah.
di buat nya airport katup sebab kabus ke apa mcm chennai itu,
maknanya pilot AA kena innalillah jah lah sebab fuel tak genap nak pergi landing ke airport lain sis.

namun kes itu pun pesawat AA antara yg terjejas kena landing kat colombo, genap pula minyak AA itu sis?
akak ingat cukup2 jah untuk landing ke airport destinasi???

dari website MAS sekarang dah boleh beli ke mana2 destinasi kot namun tak semestinya operate by MAS, kan sekarang airlines ada konsortium ke apa kejadah itu.mana2 destinasi mas tak operate maknanya sis kena la naik pesawat lain under group itu jua, transit or tak transit, cuma menyenangkan untuk ummah tempat tiket jah lah.


MAS under oneworld tak silap kakak,

berapa banyak minyak kena bawak, itu pun ada dalam regulation. contohnya,flight dari KUL to Melbourne ni...


minyak yg perlukan TRIP fuel tu..sahaja. yang lain lain tu, macam contigency, fuel to Alternate airport, holding fuel tu semua kena add on juga and it is mandotary tak kira lah samada low cost airline atau premium airline..
so dari 43,950 kg of fuel yg boleh terbang selama 7 jam 39 minit jadi 58,098 kg yg boleh terbang sehingga 10 jam 28 minit. Ada almost 3 jam extra fuel tu.

As I mentioned earlier, dari segi keselamatan dan operasi, tiada beza antara low cost airline dgn yg lain lain.
