I am going to recite this the best I can remember. If I think of anything I will add it tomorrow. Please note these are not the exact words just as close as I can remember from the awards
Lara Spencer ( show host ) says that to end the show we have Adam Lambert. Move over Claymates, we know have the Glamberts, Lamb Skanks and she said one more I think it was Lamb Chops. The she said that she is one of them now as well. Then she said I just love him so much and he was robbed. Yes she flat out said that in front of the whole crowd there. Crowd goes nuts screaming clapping for Adam. Then she continues and says that six months ago he was an unknown and now he is well known from American Idol. Watch this clip and you will see why. They then show a video clip of Adam. In Adam's package they only shows clips of American Idol. They showed three clips of Adam singing the first escape me at the moment.. I will think of them by morning when my brain is thinking ) but it ended with him singing No Boundaries. Then Lara goes to introduced Kara who is presented the award. Kara enters from side stage. Adam is in the audience the whole show. He is sitting off to the right in the 3 or 4 row. Kara then go on and on about Adam. I have to remember what all she said as by that time I was getting ansty for Adam. She did say that never in the history of Idol have we had some one so passionate and exciting ( something to that effect ) than Adam. Then she said who could forget Ring of Fire..I will remember more of it I am sure in the morning just wanted to get something to you guys on the board. Then she introduced Adam, he gets up gets his tropy and thanks Kara.
Then he says.. Six months ago I was living in a studio apartment on Melrose and Wilcox just trying to get into Teddy's. And no all this seems unreal or something to that. Then he said that he had to thank American Idol and all the fans. Then he said people ask me what is it like to have all this happened to you, what about the paparrazi, the rumours about Queen... then he made some joke like all the queen and that all the questions you want to know will be in Rolling Stone Magazine so pick up a copy and thanks once again and for some one to buy him a drink at the after party. The crowd was going mad and at the end of his speech you could tell that he was starting to get a bit emotional. Then he hugged Kara and they exicted the stage and went back stage to do press.
Lara then thanked every one for coming and there was 4 free tickets to NY under 4 random seats in the audience. Then she said see you at the after party.
I will give some more award and after party tidbits later. It may be tomorrow as it is after 3 a.m. here in LA and I was in Santa Monica all day long with the awards.

I am so mad that I did not get it on tape. I sat near the back just so I could yank out the camera for his speech. It was hard to do Lara and Kara because they had security but I figured if I just did Adam's I could get away with just that part easier since people would be loud. Batteries in camera dead.I checked them as I sat down no probelm. I should have changed them right before. I always have extras in my pocket, but they were in my purse since I ran from the carpet to my seat since I waited for Adam to arrive. I couldn't get it together by the time he started. Hopefully someone got it. Mostly people took pics. This is not the first time I had the batteries with Adam. Finale night I took a picture with him at the after party, every other idol fine, go to him batteries dead. He waits nicely as I change them take picture. I get home and look at them dark , the day before photo is blurry. I go to the last Idol press day on a hunt to get a decent photo. We posted to take it battery dead. I pull a new pair out of my pocket, he laughs cause I was so quick about it. He remembers this and says what is with you and the batteries. Tonight at the after party, I took a picture with him and I said I just put in brand new batteries. So it would not fail tonight that I have a battery issue. This only happens with him. I took pictures all day with no probelm at the awards. Sorry for the long message here.

You seem like you're handling the media focus on your sexuality without batting an eye.
I don't think I'm always handling it that well. Sometimes I say, "Errrr." Sometimes it's bad. I've gone out of Idol land; I rented a car and got to drive around and do my own thing and be in L.A. for a week梬hich means press around every corner. But it's been fun. If you can maintain a sense of humor about it, it's really funny. I'm trying to just laugh.
OK, just 'cause we're supernosy, who's your celeb crush?
I have to plead the Fifth on that. We'll talk about it later.
In the Rolling Stone article, right? Are you rocking the music mag's cover?
Yes, they picked me! It's pretty crazy. I never thought I would get anywhere near that. It's like, "What? Rolling Stone?" I don't even know what to say anymore. The article is gonna answer all those questions everybody has been asking. Once and for all.
Can't wait. Here's another gay-themed Q for you: Will you ever perform musical theater again, like every other former Idol's doing now?
[I'm] not going back to Wicked. I'll probably do a musical in the future. But I wanna focus on the album, music videos, public appearances, a really sick band, fire on stage...outfits!
So coming in second place, do you have a record contract? Collaborating with anyone yet? You said you'd love to work with Lady Gaga, Madonna...
Yes, I do, with RCA. I can't say yet. I wanna keep [collaborators] a surprise, but we have some really great stuff in store.
What's your biggest goal in all this?
To challenge people's preconceived notions about things. It's important.

Chekgu Morni...tak jugak, aku dok tunjuk Adam kat ipod kat anak buah aku yg lebih kurang umur sibuk dok keriau "auntie nana, auntie nana, baby nak Allison " . Kalu tengok AI kat tv pon bising dok panggil2 nama Allison. So there, toddlers have preference too.
Kalu tengok clip ni, ipod tu lom on lagi (takder gambar gerak2) baby tu dah nangis suh mak dia pasang Adamnyer clip. Awww!
