No.Kane was originally a character called the "Evil Dentist" Issac Yankem(get it?).Then Paul Bearer turned on 'Taker and joined Mankind aka Mick Foley.Then Taker won after a couple of rounds and started a feud with DX,namely Shawn Michaels.Somewhere around this time the character Kane was formed.They then had a storyline that Kane was 'Taker's long-lost brother who was burned when 'Taker accidentally burned down his parents' home,which was a funeral parlor.'Taker originally thought his whole family died,but it turned out Kane was alive,but deformed.Paul Bearer took him in and developed him into the monster to one day seek revenge against 'Taker.Then in a shocking twist it turned out Kane was Paul Bearer's illegitimate child.
