MELAKA: Panglima Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM), Datuk Abdul Aziz Jaafar dan artis Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan adalah antara 758 pemerima anugerah dan pingat sempena Harijadi Yang Dipertua Negeri Melaka yang ke-70, esok.
Aziz menerima Darjah Cemerlang Seri Melaka yang membawa gelaran Datuk Wira manakala Shah Rukh menerima Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka yang membawa gelaran Datuk.

MALACCA: Bollywood heart-throb Shahrukh Khan is among 80 people whowill be made Datuks in conjunction with the Yang Dipertua Negeri TunMohd Khalil Yaakob's 70th birthday today.
The actor from New Delhi will receive the Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka (DMSM), which carries the title Datuk.
Heading the list of award recipients are Royal Malaysian Navy chiefDatuk Abdul Aziz Jaafar, Kolej Teknologi Islam Antarabangsa Melakapresident Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Md Yusop Hashim and State SecretaryDatuk Omar Kaseh. They will be conferred the Darjah Cemerlang SeriMelaka (DCSM), which carries the title Datuk Wira.
There willbe no recipients for the top two state awards -- the Darjah UtamaNegeri Melaka (DUNM), which carries the title Datuk Seri Utama, andDarjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (DGSM), which carries the title Datuk Seri.

Forty-six people will receive the DarjahSeri Melaka, 27 the Justice of Peace, 65 Bintang Cemerlang Melaka, 127Bintang Khidmat Terpuji, 225 Pingat Jasa Kebaktian, 145 Pingat BaktiMasyarakat and 43 Pingat Khidmat Lama.
The awards will be conferred in a ceremony at Dewan Seri Negeri here over the weekend.
For all the fans of Shahrukh Khan and Kajolwho are waiting for the release of My Name Is Khan, the two stars mightbe seen together much earlier. Kajol will be a part of a song AdityaChopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi starring Shahrukh and debutant Anushka Sharma. The song will be shot at the Yash Raj Studios.
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has many similarities with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge starring Shahrukh and Kajol which went on to become of the biggest hits in Bollywood.
