Hi, Assalamualaikum, saya aida, baru dalam Cari.Com. Hari Raya hampir menjelang tiba tak lama lagi. Dah ada resepi untuk kek dan biskut raya? Kalau belum

kalau kat kedah/perlis/penang...its normal to have nasi lemak yg taruk kayu manis n bunga lawang..
kat area lain2...nasi lemaknyer plain jek [apart from taruk the basic santan/halia/bwg/serai/pandan lah..] |

this one is kak noor masri's sambal tumis ikan bilis
SAMBAL TUMIS IKAN BILIS
Ingredients:
1 small bowl of anchovies -cleaned n 'deboned'
15-20 dried chillies - seeded, soaked n finely grounded [adjust the amount according to your taste]
5 shallot -grounded
1 onion - sliced
salt to taste
brown sugar to taste
tamarind paste to taste [mix with water n discard seed if any]
water
oil for frying
methods:
Heat oil in the wok. Add in shallot n stir fry till aromatic then add in chilli n stir fry in low heat till aromatic and oil surfaces
Add in water, tamarind paste, brown sugar and salt. Adjust taste to your liking
Let it simmer for a while then add in anchovies..
Cook till it thickens slightly and add in sliced onion.
Simmer till the onion fully wilted and sambal thickened.
ready to serve
note:
you can omit the sliced onion n substitute it with an additional of 2-3 bulb of shallot
The key to a good sambal is to fry/cook the chilli till turned darker[browned] but not burnt eh

akak akak semua... nak tumpang tanya.
kalau nak buat nasi tu harus kah di simpan daun pandan?
saya tak dpt nak cari daun padan kat sini... apa substitute nya?
iyalaa... housemates ada special request. dorang mau saya buat nasi lemak. teliur plak dorang nak mkn.. they refer me as the house chef.. heee.. tapi saya kalau any cooking yg involve santan memang saya tak pandai sebab tak suka makan makanan yg ada santan ni so malas laa nak belajar masakan santan hehe
and kalau lada2 tu tak usah di kisar, bleh ker? di rumah ni takde blender laa plak...
serba kekurangan.. |

kalau dah takder daun pandan..
just masakkan jer santan dan garam dengan beras tu macam masak nasi biasa...
nak senang lagi masak dalam rice cooker tu jer...
pasal cili tu..rasanya memang kena mesin/kisar..so barulah ada sambal...
pilihan lain tu rasanya...tarak laaaaa.... |
