small problem here...
how i want to place back / revert the original taskbar..???
what i have now is setting from the panel...from panel tool box...
FIY i'm using KUBUNTU.. upgrade to LTS....

KDE desktop right?,
1. delete .kde files in home directory, e;g : /home/yourname/.kde* , then logout n login again..

2.try add new user, then login to new user, then delete old users..

I like to hide my desktop icons and therefore have show desktop icons unchecked. However, every time I restart the computer the icons are back on my desktop.

The weird thing is that the show desktop icons is still unchecked even though the icons are on the desktop. I have to check it again and uncheck it to hide the icons again.

How do I keep my Icons from comming back every time I reboot?
