bas ada taktik aku buat cam gini...

bila nak sampai bus stop aku nak turun kan, aku tak tunggu nak sampai baru diri, tekan ting tong then gi pintu..

so bila bas gerak je kan ( tinggalkan bus stop b4 aku turun kan? ) aku lekas2 scan seblum bas tu nye scanner mati,

so everytime aku buat gini, aku instead of bayar 85sen
aku bayar 65 sen

aku tak tipu pe, aku cuma diri kat pintu bas awal aje

dep, ko jgn....kadang2 nasib tak baik inspector bas tau2 menjelma....

Tadi masa naik bas 186, ada nyonya masuk. Masa tap card benda tu asik "tuut tuuut" takleh read sebab ada error, she smack her card case(yg jenis hard plastic tu) kat card reader tu. Apek bas pon pusing gak but tak buat apa. Gila...orang camni pon ada :gado:

two days back i naik bas no 3, apek bas dia pon mcm apa aries ckp.. Dia tgk everyone tap card, and as for those yg pakai coin dia tanya where they alighting jadi tak tipu.. I dgr matrep ni kena tanya, he say he goin pasir ris (kita naik from tampines st 21). Either dia terbayar kurang ke hape lah tu sebab dia kena stall kejap.

terasa gue.....

mah penah kena sekali.... kelan kabut berebut nak naik bas kat singapore checkpoint lupa nak tap card....padahal memang dah pegang kad tu....skali nyonya yang jaga tu jerit...halo halo....tap your card...siap naik lagi tarik mah suh tap card... paisehhhh :geram:

Hip cabby William Ng shows how he has modified the inside of his SmartCab to give it a disco look. -

From the outside, Mr William Ng's hired taxi looks just like any other SmartCab - light green, with the company's hotline number on its side.

But when Mr Ng, 48, starts his regular 12-hour shift at 5pm, the plain-looking taxi morphs into a disco on wheels. Flashing neon lights line the edges of the taxi's windows.

The dashboard comes alive with dancing coloured lights.

There are disco-like lights even on the taxi's ceiling.

A screen behind the driver's seat flashes a colourful message to the the rear-seat passenger: 'Have a nice day'.

And the reflective metallic floor mats fit the disco decor.

Mr Ng plays mainly techno music in his taxi, to match its interior and put his customers in a good mood.


POPULAR WITH TOURISTS


'The lights and music seem to make my customers happier,' he said.

He has a selection of techno music in many languages - English, Malay, Tamil - even Thai.

'My taxi is popular with tourists too,' he said. 'They like taking photos of the taxi to send back to their friends abroad, because they say they have not seen anything like it.'

When he began hiring the taxi two months ago, Mr Ng had just five neon lights installed.

Now, he has about $700 worth of colourful lights brightening the interior of his taxi. And he found that his passengers are mostly amused and pleased.

Said Mr Ng, who used to run a car sales business: 'Sometimes, customers aren't happy if you take the wrong route, so they give you trouble.

'I found that since I got the lights installed, I've got fewer complaints.'

He also has a few customers who regularly call him because they want to ride in the 'disco mobile'. They're mainly young party-goers who ask Mr Ng to pick them up from regular points.

But the lights, he says, also serve a practical purpose.

They help to keep him alert during his long night shifts - and contrary to what many people think, he says they don't distract him.

'I spend most of my time in my taxi, so in a way I installed the lights for myself too,' he said.

And even though his wife and children love his colourful taxi, he seldom takes them around in it because of his long, late shifts.

He said: 'I often pick up young passengers late at night from Zouk, Ministry of Sound, Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. Sometimes they ask whether there are extra charges for this 'special taxi', but the fares are the same.'

The first reaction of most passengers, he says, is surprise.

Said Ms Ng S Y, 25, a media executive who happened to flag down Mr Ng's taxi: 'I was very surprised when I entered the taxi. I didn't talk much to the driver because I was busy taking pictures.'

Although there were lights everywhere, she found them pleasant and not tacky or annoying.

'And the techno music was played at a comfortable volume, so it was quite relaxing,' she said.

And how did Mr Ng come up with the idea for his 'disco on wheels'?

'My friend who runs a car accessories business suggested it,' he said.

'I'm happy I installed all these lights because now, it gives me more chances to talk to my passengers.'
