penduduk pangkor tak boleh buat apa2 ke, hantar petition ke apa kan... syg kalau dirosakkan kecantikan teluk nipah ni.
saya dah la target maybe dalam setahun dua ni nak ke teluk nipah, belum pernah sampai... nampak nya tak sempat la nak nikmati keindahan semula jadi kalau makin byk projek hutan batu.

Beach monster in the making
I RECENTLY visited Pangkor Island-Nipah Bay with my family and was horrified at the state it was in.
Firstly, no garbage bins were provided along the main road and garbage like polystrene plates and cups was strewn all over the place.
Why can’t eateries use proper utensils – too lazy to wash them or saving money on the water bill?
People go to the beach to enjoy the sea view but the Manjung Municipal Council has decided to block it by building a concrete shoplot right on the beachfront.
Why spoil a good thing? Please stop it now. It’s not too late as they are just doing the piling.
The few foreign tourists I spoke to were appalled and even the locals were fuming but as usual, with Malaysians, it was a “sigh ... what to do” attitude.
If this monstrosity is built, all that people visiting Teluk Nipah will get to see is the “marvellous” view of shops selling trinkets and batik wear!
I suggest that all “beautification or upgrading” projects at any tourist or holiday destination in Malaysia come under the direct purview of the Tourism Ministry.
We cannot afford to let our nation’s natural beauty to be ruined by short-sighted officials.

tpi selagi x tgok dgn mate sndiri dont ever pre-judge.....senang je pd aku...
aku boley gerenti 95% local Pangkorian setuju dgn pembinaan yg dijalankan........

pembangunan kalau tak disertakan dgn penjagaan kebersihan alam sekitar, bakal menghasilkan kemusnahan. tu yg pencinta alam risaukan tu.
macam penulis surat tu claimed masa dia pergi baru2 ni, keadaan teluk nipah penuh sampah sarap (akibat perbuatan pengunjung jugak) sebab tak byk tong sampah disediakan by PBT.
mcm saya kalau tak jumpa tong sampah, saya akan bawak balik sampah tu, buang kat rumah atau mana2 tpt yg ada tong sampah kemudian.
but not everyone buat mcm tu. so...
mcm surat2 mcm tu, patutnya those yang bertanggung jawab berterima kasih sbb ada yg prihatin dan berusaha tingkatkan kemajuan PP dari segala segi, terutama sekali kebersihan.
sbb cantik mcm mana pun sesuatu tpt tu, kalau kotor, hilang dah seri dia.
last sekali pergi PP thn 1993. tapi tak sampai teluk nipah. ingat in the future nak pergi teluk nipah & nikmati keindahan dia. |
