Oh dear, dear silly ariya...let me try to make you understand.

I think forummers are getting tired of your parrot-fashion chatter that Kuan Yew agreed to a price review of 45 sen ....during the discussion of issues in a total package. (If you wan me to tell you abt all the issues in the total package, plse say so...yes? no?)

With the collapse of the total package, 45 sen, 60 sen, RM$6, RM$8 (or RM$1 million ???).... is history...becomes water under the bridge lah!

"MALAYSIA (HAS) ALL THE RIGHTS FOR A PRICE REVIEW" ...is not only a matter of opinion, it's a matter of legal interpretation within the framework of the water agreement. Only arbitration, at an international or m'sian court, can resolve this issue. You know this or not?

"The only thing is that the price of it must be acceptable by both" ... this is one of a few sensible thing you've said so far.
Since singapore have challenged msia right to price review and have NOT agreed to a price above the current price; indeed, the price of m'sian water remains at 3 sen per 1000 gallons till 2061, unless you come out with brilliant ideas to untie these dead knots. Surely, you can do better than just blaring..."right of review...right of review..."

On a separate note, I've been demoted to a begger ... but it's no big deal lah!

The price is not 3 sen until 2061 but the current price until the next review is agreed upon. Then after that, the price of that current price until the next review. So, what are you trying to imply????? I do not get you as what are you hitting on.

my fren, pity you are not getting smarter.

First, you have to start thinking very very hard about how to get both sides to agree on a new price. Whining or ranting abt "GIVES MALAYSIA ALL THE RIGHTS FOR A PRICE REVIEW" would not get you far...hahahaha!

Msian water is worth 3 sen till 2061 unless you wake up to bold new ideas to persuade singapore ... got the drift?

Sober up, my fren....and my expert advise to you is to be more civilised by writing in the normal font.

Old sonny boy has to come out again to try to comfort our poor distressed Ariya....

sonny's moaning and ranting does not do justice to his intelligence. It only reminds me of a sore and jealous man, coverting his neighbours' success and wealth.

Whenever he runs out of argument, he resorts to his usual gibberish rubbish of name-calling ....what a pity lah !

I repeat, .... msian water is worth 3 sen till 2061 unless ....???? hehehehe

And, its plainly not clever to challenge a supermoderator....hahahaha!

You have no shame taking benefit on others account? It isn't something that should be proud of....a gentleman will behave like a gentleman.... a nation without a pride will act like one.

Yes, Mr sonny, whatever will be, will be... so let's come back here to chat when we are nearly 80 years old :lol

Mr kid, solemn agreement between sovereign nations must be gentlemanly honoured. That's why there are provisions in the water agreement to resolve disputes by arbitration.

After all, m'sia had shown that she is capable of sueing singapore at an international court. (remember ... the land reclamation issue)

Also, singapore agreed to refer the revised pricing of this cheap water to a m'sian court. So, what are you talking abt "no shame taking benefit on others account"?

Sotomee, that is why to be frank, I think know not much. The thing is that we are not whning for that price increase. It was an agreement made and it was a deal, a deal in black and with that Malaysia has the right to review tha prices of water after every 25 years. Thus the prices of water after the review would be the price until the next review which is of a minimum of 25 years. Thus your statement that it is worth 3 sen until 2061 is totally inaccurate and absurd. The issue is that when the review comes, how much is the price they are going to set is the problem. Lee Kuan Yew acknowledge the fact that it is right for a PRICE REVIEW. The BIG PROBLEM is how much is the price would it be. Thus both must agree on the price, and if both disagree that is Singapore suggested RM0.45 and Malaysia wanted more, then there is a problem. Thus finalyh, if no agreement, the best thing is to go for arbitaration.

One more thng MeeSoto, the post posted by my friends is not a clear submission but based on principles. The fact is that you know not much of what is the agreement all about and you tend to talk like you are the expert in which you are not. Go back and do your research first MeeSoto or perhaps, I should call you Debmey. Correct me if I am wrong.

He was a clown and his policies did make Msia a joke. a good example was the curvy bridge nonsence which pak lah put a stop to soon after he took power.

Aiyah..oh dear Ariya .....what does it take to put some logic into the little cavity of your brain?

Lee Kuan Yew agreed to 45 sen as part of a total package...and when the former egoistic, mega political joker discontinued the discussion on package deal..it's boom...boom...kabooom! ...everything returns to ground zero...maybe this time you understand? yes? no?

To tell you frankly, my poor Ariya....I nearly fell off my chair when I read "The thing is that we are not whning for that price increase." !!! Then, can you tell me what are you sulking and raving abt? ... other than the very cheap, cheap price of water?

It's not malu, my fren, to make a U-turn to concede that arbitration is the best resourse for m'sia.

As to your obsession that I am Mr Debmey, I shall leave you tweaking your weany brain...but I shall help you alleviate some of your agony by asking you to look at our writing styles and...hint...hint...just like you dont participate much in the defunct religion forum, you should notice that i do not either....understand? yes? no?....hehehehe

Finally, I note that you are now enlightened enough by not writing in red.

Have a good rest...you need plenty of it.:lol
