Putra has mentioned on a particular term like

"heliocentric" and "? geocentric"

ni quite interesting because

i wanna know the philosophy of it and how the understanding of the adopted approaches will make us gain better understanding on our theory of this universe.

Sorry, I can't comment anything on philosophical stuff, coz they can't be calculated using calculus. Too much debate. I'm not that good in debating without math.

i came across that term when one is talking about the theory of the universe  from two different civilizations-  the greek and islam

it is  interesting concept though when one is  discussing  theories of the universe -  as  the Greek  is described to have the so - called -  heliocentric view of the universe while the Moslem was identified as having the geocentric view.


so a person should be able to have a good grasp  on  both sides of things and thn he could somehow related how  these two views are the same or vice versa .................if this happen there will be no time wasted on clarifying the concepts lah kot....sebab he/she faham what both ares aying and could argue the points within logics lah kot...

nope.. I'm waiting for those who said that human can see x-ray and em wave is not light n stuff, but they never appear. I wonder why. They left after I used a verse from Quran to prove that human cannot see x-ray. That's kinda mysterious.

i haven't followed this thread from start so i dont know what's the direction on this. so i'll just answer ur question generally..

how corona is hotter than then sun itself. first we need to understand the difference between heat and temperature. although the corona is far hotter than the sun(photosphere i mean), but it is at minuscule level which mean it doesn't carry much energy relatively. just imagine water being heated in let say electric heater. the steam which is probably 100C wont hurt u but the water inside which possibly just 90C will cause lots of injury should it touch u.

how to transfer? vacuum? plasma la bai, plasma. try to imagine plasma rather than gas state. susah2 jek nak relatekan ngan quran  

visible light is just part of EM wave that mean it just part of energy from EM wave. besides visible light, there are ultraviolet, infrared, gamma, xray etc. erkkk wat's the question?

yessssssssssss...................good that's exactly it!
but the heart of arguement is - according to the threader,  how could there be such a thing -  as hotter than the sun ? well your example of the "steam" as in the case of water  vapour is good..i never thought of that ....hmm good.

how did corona get its energy from? another view had proposed that the  vacuumed space is  to be accounted for this - which we think is you know  a bit  hmmm...really? he went  on saying ( not the threader) that the vacuumed empty space itself is the one absorbing energy from the sun thus heating the corona up...
- well you could read all the arguments in the previous 10 pages...i shall leave it to you in  exploring  this matter.
