This time with more emphasis on Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson shooting scenes as Bella and Edward. Never realised how skinny he is.
Anyway, yesterday was Kristen Stewart抯 birthday. They all hit up a private room in a restaurant for a late night celebration: Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed + female friend, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, his friend Sam, and Jackson Rathbone.
Taylor left first. Interestingly enough, at the end of the night, Kristen and Jackson took off together while Rob, Nikki, Sam, and Nikki抯 friend got into a cab separately, and did NOT meet with up with the others.

New Moon movie set photos of Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart give us an idea of what to expect

Thanks to Lainey Gossip, who seems to get all the photographic scoops on The Twilight Saga: New Moon and its cast, we have a new array of on-set photographs to opine about.
[* Warning * The following may contain spoilers for those who have not read New Moon.]
A couple in particular grabbed my attention. The first, of Bella (Kristen Stewart) holding a camera, might make one believe that the birthday present from Charlie (Billy Burke) is a definite inclusion in the film (not that we doubted it). In New Moon, Bella receives the camera, and it becomes a major part of her tormentous break-up with Edward. Yet, this is a digital camera, and in the book, the camera is not. I'm sure this remediable, since digital photos, too, are erase-able. Nevertheless, as this is, to fans, a most important scene for The Twilight Saga: New Moon to get right, this photo may give us a reason to believe it shall.
Another, of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella might make one think they might be in the middle of filming the break-up scene also. The look on Kristen's face says it all, don't you think? The break-up scene, to fans of Stephenie Meyer's New Moon, would say that the exactness of this scene has to be, well, uncanny.
Other photos show the rest of the cast (some of whom showed up in Vancouver very recently, including Taylor Lautner, Christian Serratos, Anna Kendrick, Justin Chon, and Michael Welch (see Lainey Gossip's site)) in their gear readying to film other shots for New Moon. Fans of the book series said, quite vehemently, that Bella's self-destruction and alienation in the film must resemble that which we experienced in the book (down to the turning pages of time, literally, as the months flew by without important incident in Bella's life).

Kristen Stewart ran into to John Corbett yesterday. He抯 in town with Bo Derek and their dogs, is working on a new project. Not sure what and don抰 care. Aidan was never my dude. Ew.

Then on Saturday morning, Robert and Nikki were spotted exiting his hotel together, met up right away with a friend, and all three grabbed a cab. RP and Nikki then had lunch with two others again in Yaletown that afternoon and were later joined by Taylor Lautner.
That night, RP and Kristen hooked up with some production folks from the movie at a pub for a casual production meeting over in Gastown. RP and Kristen left separately and he was seen later on with Nikki and some other non-famous friends.

Principal photography has begun on Summit Entertainment抯 THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, it was announced today by Erik Feig, Summit抯 President of Production. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Academy Award-nominee Chris Weitz (THE GOLDEN COMPASS, ABOUT A BOY) is the director. NEW MOON is filming on locations in Vancouver, BC and Tuscany, Italy.
Also rejoining the movie are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper , Edi Gathegi as Laurent and Rachelle Lafevre as Victoria.
New cast members include the legendary Volturi, a venerable coven of vampires who weigh and impose the laws of the vampire world, as well as two new members of the Quileute Indian Nation. The Volturi include Charlie Bewley as Demetri, Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius, Daniel Cudmore as Felix, Christopher Heyerdahl as Marcus, all Volturi enforcers. Dakota Fanning plays Jane, a high ranking and powerful Volturi member and Cameron Bright is Alec, her brother. Noot Seer plays Volturi member Heidi. Michael Sheen plays Aro, the Volturi leader. Graham Greene appears as Harry Clearwater, Quileute tribal leader and old friend of Bella抯 father Charlie. Tinsel Korey is Emily, the fiance of Sam Uley.
In NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).
