betul tuh...kalo org lakki mmg jeles la...hehehehe, kat kolej aku pun ade budak laki cine..pastu mase tuh kitorang budak pompuan yg gile kat F4 ni borak-borak ah pasal MG, then budak laki cine tuh ejek kiotorang...die cakap, 'ape lah korang admire budak budak jambu cam F4 tu"...ek eles padahal die jeles die tak encem cam F4 ni...especially Jerry....hehehe |

On August 15 at 8'oclock in the evening in Taipei, Jerry and Director Cai Yue Xun
joined the fans in watching The Hospital. Jerry and the Director arrived very late,
but fans still waited for Jerry's arrival while watching at the huge electronic TV wall.
They crowded towards Jerry, hoping to get near him, and people also struggled like
mad to take his pictures in their digital cameras, that led Jerry to pull down his cap
for cover.

Yesterday night, CTV had set up 10 huge electronic TV walls spread across Taiwan for a simultaneous outdoor broadcast of The Hospital. Without notice, Jerry went to the street opposite of Ding Hao market in Taipei where an huge electronic TV was showing The Hospital. At first, he wanted to watch the whole show inside the car. Later, as it gets warm, Jerry decided to jump off his vehicle and said, "Thanks everyone!" Wearing his baseball cap, it prompted fans to scream and crowd towards him. Director Cai Yue Xun then immediately held his arm and helped him get inside the car. The plain-clothed Janine Zhang was also discreetly in the vicinity and watched the whole show.
Last night, The Hospital went off to fight and narrow down the 8pm war again. FTV's "Unforgettable Wish" had already extended its airing last week. The original 90-minute drama is extended to 100 minutes, to take advantage of its loyal viewers. FTV program manager Xu Nian Tai said, ¡?ow we wish we could explain the whole plot, and it¡¦s not really our plan to extend it.¡ |

There are mixed reactions on Jerry's doctor role.
AGB Nielsen Media Research Survey revealed that the viewership rate on The Hospital's first telecast on CTV the other night had an average of 2.35%, with females dominating the viewers. Jerry's low-profiled appearance on August 16 as a "common guy" had mixed reactions. Die hard and loyal fans hailed for it but someone said that he still had his soft points especially when he appeared with Leon Dai, Liang Xiu Shen, Zhang Guo Zhu, etc.
Many people, after watchiing The Hospital, hailed the F4's eldest member present success. Jerry was concerned on the viewer's rate, but felt happy when everyone mentioned these scenes and he can now say, "these scenes are good." Working with hard-core artists and Janine, he had huge pressures and obviously felt nervous. But he continued to work hard again, land ater, even Director Cai and Leon Dai praised him, " He is already discovering his own strengths"
Jerry fans are still unsatisfied with the viewership ratings it got and stated, " Why did its 8 pm telecast only got above 2 points? Is also because that on it's 11 pm rerun, the viewers are already scattered?" Everyone, please concentrate on watching the 8 pm telecast!" However, Director Cai andf wife Yue Xiao Hui said, " It's not that we are unsatisfied. Although everybody really expects much from us, we wont regret choosing the 8 pm time slot. because we are just beginning to have these great results." Dai Li Ren's acting is so good that he is now regarded as "Taiwan's Tony Leung. "
2.Idol advertisements lost its effects

The Hospital veiwership rate was not that good but Jerry didnt mind,
his only wish is to hear everyone say that the scenes are all good
CTV's 8pm drama "The Hospital" with Jerry Yan as its male lead, got only 2.3% viewership ratio on its intitial broadcast. which is half lower compared to its previous program " Shen Diao Xia Lu". Is it because the idol has lost his grip? Or is it because the viewers are still used to the salty traditional dramas on the 8pm slot?
The Hospital's fight for viewership is no ideal. CTV's Project Editing Room Director Fang Ke Ren started to fire and said," Although I almost expected this viewership rate, Taiwan, however had adopted a strange system of getting these ratings eversince, and the Taiwan drama industry losses from it."
After The Hospital's initial broadcast, showbiz insiders' general reaction all thought that Director Cai filmed the TV serial as his new outlet, that all matters should belong to him. Producer Zheng Zhao Cheng and Lin Shu Qiao even gave him 99% part on all the production matters, thinking he could raise the standard of the Taiwanese drama industry. The mother of idol drama Angie Chai even said,"Getting viewership is exactly the Director's intention," With about 3% viewership, people chose not to watch the 8 pm drama. This low ratings worries a lot of people in the TV industry.
CTV had loyal viewers of traditional dramas for its 8 pm slot eversince. Now, they changed it into an idol drama, leading a big chunk of senior viewers washed away. CTV confirmed, " Our 50 year old and above viewers changed into 25-39 year olds white-collar female viewers. Moreover, the Chinese generally dont like to fall sick so they dont like the topic "surgical transplants", or the death plot and the sudden appearance of power forces.
Cai Yue Xun said," I already worked hard to make a production of this degree. Im convinced that everyone will work hard, because competition is one bad thing. Moreover, I have a strong hopes to wait for the people who had not watched the 8 pm time slot for a very long time now, to pull them back to the TV screens. Jerry was fairly calm when he saw the results, he quietly said," Actually, regardless of how it would rate, I really hope to hear everyone say the The Hospital is one good drama."

"The Hospital" Director Cai and author Hou are not prophecy-tellers, but had they forseen even Lain Zhao Jian's famous mannerism to raise his chin at a 45-degree angle? Dai Li Ren portrays the Surgical Department Head Qui Qing Cheng in the drama. But whether it is just a simple gesture, or walking in the halls of the Hospital, he often appeared in a "raised chin", that fans then started to talk about.
In the drama, Dai Li Ren unscrupulously got his promotion as Surgical Dept. Head. He had an illicit affair with a TV reporter Yang Jin Hua where they made love right in his office, and this powerful acting named him as " Taiwan's Tony Leung." Fans even joked, " When they were filming the drama, the incident with the Prince hadn't even occured yet, so how come it turned out like this?"
Yang Ming Productions explained that Dai Li Ren's character in the first half of the drama is a tough guy, aiming for the No3. position in The Hospital, so Dai Bao Ge must portray a very authocratic feeling. In contrast, after the first half, his acting will be lighter, resulting in balance of drama effects.
A few days ago, there were rumors that after the shooting ended, Jerry planned to invest in a new drama and asked Cai Yue Xun to direct it, reversely "directing" him now as the boss. When Jerry's manager and consultant Jiang Yi Peng heard the rumor, he said, "Really? I know that they had been chatting on which script is also good, but at present, they had slowed down a little. You must also know that when Director Cai will film a project, the discussions are long, and before the start of the shooting will also take very long."
