then, elok ke kalau bagi cip implan kat kucing ni...?sebab tempat lamola amik kitten ni buat free cip implan, tauke tu cakap untuk pengenalan kucing tersebut...

Ada lagi tambahan info....tapi tatau nak taip kat mana....so taip kat sini jerla.....

fad akan ceritakan serba sedikit tentang kehidupan dan habitat kucing yg dh tentu ramai org Malaysia yang memeliharanya. Sebenarnya mengikut kajian dan fakta, kucing adalah haiwan yg unik sama seperti anjing,monyet mahupon orang utan. CUma cara hidupnya yang tidak menonjol seperti haiwan yg lain kerana kemalasannya. Mungkin ramai yg x tahu cara dan penjagaan memelihara dan kefahaman tentang haiwan ini. So...arinie sy akan berkongsi tips-tips dan info yang kadang2 kita sendiri tak mengetahuinya. so.....baca dan hayati okey...

1. Jangan bagi kucing peliharaan korang mkn putih telur mentah kerana putih telur mentah mengandungi enzim yg boleh memecahkan vitamin biotin iaitu salah satu keperluan dalam kesihatan seekor kucing.

2. Kucing tertua yg direkodkan setelah fossilnya dijumpai iaitu 12 juta thn terdahulu. Spesis ini telah hidup sekian lama sebenarnya.

3. Ibu kucing sering mengajar anaknya untuk memburu makanan. Dan jika dipelihara sejak kecil oleh kita dan tidak diajar oleh ibunya tentang cara kehidupan sebenar, kucing ini akan hanya menangkap mangsa dan tidak tahu apa untuk dibuat dengan mangsa tersebut.

4. Makanan asal kucing bukanlah ikan. Asal kucing di awalnya adalah di padang pasir. Ia lebih menggemari burung dan serangga. Haiwan ini diajar memakan ikan ketika perang dunia kedua kerana ketika itu daging amat mahal dan setiap kilang telah mengetin bahan makanan murah dan berprotien tinggi untuk makanan haiwan. Disinilah bermulanya mereka memperkenalkan ikan sebagai sumber utama untuk makanan kucing.

5. Kucing juga mempunyai stress jika:
a)Pemelihara mempunyai haiwan peliharaan yg lain.
b)Berpindah ke rumah baru.
c)Aktivi pembinaan berlaku di sekitar rumah.
d)Penukaran pemelihara.
e)Pertukaran makanan.Kucing sanggup makan makanan yg sama setiap hari.

6. Kucing lebih bertindak balas bila dipanggil oleh wanita daripada lelaki. Ini kerana wanita mempunyai suara bernada tinggi dan nyaring drpd lelaki. chiss..!!

7. Jangan memberi bawang sebagai makanan kepada kucing. Slah satu enzim dalam bawang boleh merosakkan hemoglobin dalam sel darah merahnya. Cuba lihat dulu bahan-bahan apa yg diberi pada kucing anda.

8. Bila kucing datang dan menggeselkan badannya di kaki kita, ia adalah untuk menunjukkan kemesraan dan meletakan bau peribadinya ke atas kita.

9. Kucing boleh melihat enam kali ganda lbh dari manusia di dlm gelap kerana ia mempunyai sel refleksi yg menyerap cahaya.

10. Otak kucing memerlukan banyak tenaga untuk berfungsi kerana lbh 20 pratus daripadanya dari hati akan terus menuju ke otak.

11. Kucing adalah satu-satunya haiwan yg berjalan dan berdiri menggunakan kukunya dan bukan menggunakan tapak kakinya.

12. Kucing sentiasa mencucikan dirinya dengan menjilat badannya. Ini adalah untuk membuang bau-bauan dari pemelihara yang memegangnya.

13. Kucing mempunyai memori yg lbh bagus dari anjing. Setelah membuat kajian di Universiti Michigan,anjing mempunyai memori sekitar 5minit manakala kucing boleh bertahan selama 16jam melebihi monyet dan orang utan.

14. Kucing mempunyai lebih dari seratus bunyi vokal yg berlainan manakala anjing cuma ada 10 saja bunyian vokalnya.

15. Kucing juga mempunyai emosi.

16. Mata kucing mempunyai refleksi yg boleh menyerap cahaya ketika mengambil gambar menggunakan flash,mata kucing tersebut akan menjadi merah.

17. Kucing menggunakan 15 peratus untuk tidur sepanjang hayatnya. Dianggarkan 50 peratus setiap hari untuk tidur dan 35 peratus lagi adalah masa jaga sepanjang hayatnya.

Poisonous things in cat food

i know its in US,canada n mexico.pet lovers in US start not to giv their pet commercial food,instead,the cook 4 them.but really im worried and im confused, cook 4 them,or buy cat food, or catfood+cook 4 them.some people claim that pet food is not good for our pet.naturally,they eat raw not cooked.some claim that cats cant really absorb nutrients in cooked food. i also did a bit of research about cat food ingredient.good cat food diet contains 75-80% meat, 20-25% veggies, and if possible no grain coz cat cant digest grains.then, to my surprise, i found things that are poisonous to cat in the commercial cat food.i googled and found out that food/plants that are poisonous to cats r:

1.onions,garlic,tomatoes,potatoes,eggplant,pepper & all related root vege.
2.chocolate, caffeine,sweets.
3.grapes,raisins
4.bones from fish,poultry,other meat
5.mushrooms
6.raw eggs

but then, i read the ingredients in some of the branded cat food,and there are these poisonous for cat in it.

5 Tips for New Cat Owners

1. Do your homework. The decision to get a cat may have been unplanned and emotional, but the care of that cat can抰 be impulsive. Talk to your veterinarian, read books by qualified experts, and learn about this new family member. Start off by being properly informed about what cats need, and you抣l see your relationship blossom as your kitty grows into a well-socialized, well-behaved feline.

2. Start out with the right equipment. There are so many litter boxes, litters, scratching posts, toys, and beds -- and the list goes on. How do you know what your cat needs? Resist the urge to buy a product based on its human appeal. Think Like a Cat and look at a product from your cat抯 point of view. For example, a covered litter box is designed to hide the sight and odor of its contents from us. Unfortunately, the cover also traps the odor in the box, making it unpleasant for the cat. An uncovered box that抯 the right size for your cat would be in line with what Fluffy would choose if she had control of your wallet. Use that same Think Like a Cat eye-view when deciding on other products. Is that scratching post appealing to you because it抯 small and easily hidden in a corner? If so, that decision may cost you some damage to your furniture, because Fluffy would prefer something tall and sturdy.

3. Make your home cat-safe. This is crucial when a cat comes into the home. Dangling electrical cords are enticing to a playful cat, so you should firmly secure all wires. Plants pose another danger, and almost all houseplants are toxic to cats. Remove plants that are harmful, or use a bitter anti-chew spray made especially for plants (found in pet supply stores.) A dangling window-blind cord is another potential hazard. Instead, provide acceptable outlets for that behavior by having cat trees, perches, and scratching posts in order to make your environment cat-friendly. Provide areas for safe exploration, cozy naps, climbing, jumping, playing, and just plain fun!

5. Remember -- your cat is not a dog. I know it may seem obvious, but you抎 be surprised how many times I see cats eating dog food or being bathed in dog shampoo. Use food and other products that are specifically designed for cats. Many products that are safe for dogs are not safe for a cat抯 sensitive skin. When it comes to food, cats require more fat and protein, so if Fluffy eats Fido抯 food, she won抰 be getting enough of the nutrients she needs

The Easiest Way To Make You Cat Answer His Name!
yeah...this what I did to all my cats

FIRST WEEK
====================
1. Find his/her most favourite food..
2. Let him smells the food...don't give it to him yet..
3. Move a few paces back..call your cat name and show him the food..
- your cat will move to you
- just give him a little
4. REPEAT STEP 3

- REPEAT THIS FOR A WEEK

SECOND WEEK
=====================
1. REPEAT STEP 1-4
2. Hide somewhere behind sofa..make sure your cat still can see you a little bit..call his name
3. Let him smells the food...don't give it to him yet..
4. Move a few paces back..call your cat name and show him the food..
- your cat will move to you
- give him the food
- REPEAT THIS FOR A WEEK

THIRD WEEK
=====================
1. REPEAT STEP 1-4
2. Get inside your bedroom or any room..call your cat name
3. Let him smells the food...don't give it to him yet..
4. Move a few paces back..call your cat name and show him the food..
- your cat will move to you
- give him the food

- REPEAT THIS FOR A WEEK

Gunakan air suam @ yang panas sedikit. Elakkan menggunakan air paip biasa yang sememangnya sejuk! Banyak brand yang terdapat dipasaran. Boley juga gunakan Machiko @ Frieskies untuk shampoo. Kalau yang ada masalah kutu...boleu juga gunakan jenama Macciko yang khusus untuk kutu. Murah...mudah...cepat dan berkesan.
