1... Allah won't ask what kind of
car you drove; He'll ask how many
people you drove who didn't have
transportation.

2...Allah won't ask the square
footage of your house, He'll ask
how many people you welcomed into
your home.

3...Allah won't ask about the
clothes you had in your closet,
He'll ask how many you helped to
clothe.

4... Allah won't ask what your
highest salary was; He'll ask if
you compromised your character to
obtain it.

5...Allah won't ask what your job
title was; He'll ask if you
performed your job to the best of
your ability.

6...Allah won't ask how many
friends you had, He'll ask how
many people to whom you were a
friend.

7...Allah won't ask in what
neighborhood you lived, He'll ask
how you treated your neighbors.

8...Allah won't ask about the
color of your skin, He'll ask
about the content of your
character.

9...Allah won't ask why it took
you so long to seek Salvation;
He'll lovingly take you to your
mansion in heaven, and not to the
gates of Hell.

10...Allah won't ask how many
people you forwarded this to;
He'll ask if you were ashamed to
pass it on to your friends.

Read Carefully..
Happy moments, praise Allah.
Difficult moments, seek Allah.
Quiet moments, worship Allah.
Painful moments, trust Allah.
Every moment, thank Allah!

Seorang penyair pernah berkata:

Ihfaz lisaanaka ayyuhal innsan
Wahai manusia jagalah lisanmu

La yal da ghannaka innahu thu'ban
Kerana dia itu ular, jangan sampai menggigitmu

Kam fil maqaabir min qatiili lisaanihi
Berapa banyak penghuni kubur adalah kurban lisannya

Kaanat tuhaabu liqaa'ahusyaj 'aan
Seorang pemberanipun takut menemuinya

Penyair yang lain menyatakan:

Yamutulfataa min 'atharatin bilisaanihi
Kerana ketergelinciran lisan, seorang bisa mati

Wa laisa yamuutul mar'u min 'asyratirrijal
Sorang tak kan mati kerana tergelincir kaki

Fa'athratuhu bilisaanihi tuzhibu ra'sahu
Tergelinicir dengan lisan sebabkan kepala tiada

Wa 'athratuhu birijlihi tabra'u 'alaa mahli
Sedangkan tergelincir dengan kaki akan sembuh tanpa luka

(Jika kita ingin mengetahui isi hati seseorang maka kita cukup
memperhatikan lisannya. Kerana ucapan lisan akan
menunjukkan isi hati, baik hal yang diakui oleh orang tersebut
ataupun tidak).

Yahya bin Muadz mengatakan:

"Hati adalah laksana periuk yang mendidihkan isi yang
terkandung di dalamnya. Lisan adalah laksana gayungnya.
Maka perhatikanlah ketika seseorang sedang berbicara.
Kerana lisannya akan menuangkan isi hatinya, manis,
masam, segar sangat asin ataukan rasa yang lain. Akan
jelas bagi kita rasa hatinya dengan gayung lisannya."
