Err , there's no more Materia thingy here.
But both Technique/magic can be obtained from buying it in the Technique shop/Magic shop.
The only annoying thing is u need to 'license' it using LP's b'fore u can use it.
About the battle system... the Gambit thingy will be complicating at first , but I think most of the people playing it must have gotten used to it..
Or umm , why not try checking gamefaqs.com for info about it..

hehe...actually too lazy..I managed to solve some of the Temple puzzles without walkthorugh and was quite far into the game..then suddenly lost interest and got lazy..hehe. Not sure why but RPG don't interest me much.. |

memang pon... game RPG ni makan byk masa
masa aku FF 7 dulu.... sampai clock tu tak jalan...
stop at 99 hours playing game......
masa FF X lak.... 200 hours... pehhh 2 weeks khatam...

Well to me the best RPG is still Final Fantasy 7. Best graphics, sound, gameplay, in depth storyline etc at its time. Now yes, all is considered outdated, but if you were to play it back in 97,98 it was a sheer pleasure. The game spark few controversies over the Internet because one of its character died. the debate rage on for the next 3 to 5 years until one bloke admitted he lied when he said that character can be revived. One of the few games that spark such a debate like GTA San Andreas paranormal issues.
I'm glad that the game would be redesign with better graphics and audio. It would be nice to play the game again.
As to Suikoden, i havent played suikoden IV, but me younger brother said compared to suikoden 2, it was a bit boring. i like Suikoden 2 especially the cooking contest. Really funny stuff!
Wild arms should be one the other RPG nominated. Got good storyline and many puzzles.
Well, as to the poll, i couldnt really vote because i havent got the chance to play most of them except FFX. FFX is good. it got the feel like FF7. Unfortunately the freeplay like FF7 is not there. Should be able to rear a chocobo at least.
