secara terus terang, mmg vokal zz dlm dingin baik. her pitching is gd, has power and very good control in the low notes. tapi bila dgr berulang2 dan menghayati lirik, zz mmg tak layak dicalonkan.
- zz suka sgt meng-R&B-kan lagu. perluker? she really think it sounds nicer? pada bahagian yg memerlukan vokal yg lembut, zz keraskan. why? sekarang ni zz nyani dah takder feel. n she just doesn't seem to understand that. cuba dgr lenggok zz dlm lagu2 seperti kemelut, setia ku di sini, puncak kasih dan syurga hati kita. compare that with dingin, lembah asmara. (beberapa lagu dlm ACM memerlukan zz mengeraskan vokal, that's fine cos it suits songs like fatalistik but she must becareful while doing that in ballads, sometimes it kills the song.)
-zz tak perlu nyanyi stail dayang, ning or any other singer. it just doesn't sound natural. she should just embrace the meaning behind the song and just sing instead of trying to do vocal acrobatics.
-unfortunately, the diva doesn't seem to realise that this is a flaw.
btw, i dun think she will win best vocal next year thru Pawana either.  |

i think you should correct ur statement...do u noe how RnB sound is?? I dun think ZZ try to sing in RnB way..what she did is called dynamic. and that how we feel the song. as compared to her another songs b4 dis, i think she did better in dingin..at the beginning of the song she used whispering technique + a bit of primavento. during the chorus, she tried to avoid using too much vibrato to soothe the song. Overall i think she did a good job and this song have its own uniqueness..what i can say is...."Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" |
