Not quite so. Saya tidak mudah sentap. I am a reasonable person. But it is my job to protect my artistes tooth and nail if they are attacked. Then I will sentap sentap usik. :-)

Simple. Buy the album, all her whistle notes in the album are within the whistle range. But her highest note is equivalent to Mariah Carey's. That's how Nikki learned to sing whistles, by imitating Mariah from a young age.

Nikki has not recorded her highest note yet. maybe next album. But she sings them live during dinner shows when she does Mariah Carey's songs.

I already have her album. I bought it during the first few days when it was released in stores. I am an avid fan of nikki.

I was actually suggesting to you to ask nikki to record her highest note maybe with a voice recorder/ tape recorder and post it here and then we'll know her highest note. Mariah's highest note was a G#7 in 1991 for 2 live performances of Emotions and her latest highest note was a very vague F#7 at the end of Mine Again in the TEOM album. So your implying that nikki can actually hit those notes?

setahu aku G#7 is one note higher than F#7....so what do u mean by 'her latest highest note'? does it mean that she cant hit G#7 anymore or her highest note in that particular album only (TEOM)?

yes, mmgpun G#7 is one note higher than an F#7.:ah:

that's the thing, skang nie we really don't know what mariah's highest note is or what her current vocal range is. it could be less than 5 octaves sbb her voice has already deteriorated badly over the years. she can't sing as good as she once could before, pre-1997. but then again, it could be bigger than that, add another note or 2. dia pernah capai that G#7 twice LIVE in 1991. after that, it was said that she never hit that note again. usually in her live performances (today), the highest she would hit is a C7 or D7 at most. she would never try to exert any more effort to go beyond those notes. tu yg org kata she had lost a couple of her notes in the whistle register. ppl would say she couldn't hit those E7s,F7s,G7s that she could once hit before.

tapi tu la, yg terkejutnya masa dgr album TEOM, tiba2 u can hear a faint flageolet canary whistle at the very end of the song. u would have to turn up the volume really high to listen to it. so that would mean that, mariah still has the ability to hit notes above a D7. igtkan she had lost it already. but for the G#7, we may never know if she can hit that again until she demonstrates her full upper register again dgn penuh smangat dan bertenaga.

lagi satu, last yr during her "the adventures of mimi tour", she was able to hit an E7 and sustain it with flair effortlessly during her performance of All In Your Mind. maknanya she still can hit those high notes. can't say the same about her vocal performance though.
