A Tw fan whose a married lady & a longtime fan of Jerry posted that her husband is a person who never ever watch Tw drama serials as he finds it boring & low quality. that day, for episode 5 of TH, seeing her husband in a good mood, she managed to persuade him to watch TH with her. husband said "ok, but only just a couple of minutes ". guess what, hubby sat & watched finished the whole episode & after that told her he never expected a Tw drama serial to be of such high std. wife feel quite triumphant over the whole incident as she manage to do something for TH & Jerry.
another Tw fan posted that a friend's niece, a high school girl & a diehard K-drama fan is also watching TH. seems that she's not the only one, quite a no. of her classmates are also watching TH. |

Korea version of White Tower
Today I heard a news about Korean version of White Tower.
Kim Jong Hak producing company announced that they are going to remake a drama series out of Japanese "White Tower".
They didn't mention the exact casting list and making plan yet.
I'm not sure how it will affect popularity of Jerry's "Hosptal".
To be honest, I'm a little worried now.
KJH is very famous and very good at making drama series. The "Full House" was also made by them.
In my opinion, Taiwan "Hospital" can't get away from being compared with the original Japanese version. Plus with Korean version in the future. |

According to a magazine article, Leon Dai & Jerry , ever since getting to know each other during filming of TH, has got along very well. That Leon Dai invited Jerry to star in a movie/tv serial that's he directing & Jerry has agreed. That even though Jerry's acting fees is very high but judging from copyright sales of TH, its worth it as Director Chai not only has earned back all that he has invested in TH plus some more. But unfortunately, due to some problems, this project has been cancelled. But both Leon Dai & Jerry are determined to join forces, so there's every possibility in the future that both will get together again on a project. |

In this article, the reporter indicates that Dai Li Ren was provided NT$10 millions grant for filming a movie, but there is rumor that he has stopped the project. According to the reporter, the main reason was that he failed to invite Jerry as the main lead. Because Dai stopped the project, he needs to return the money and he may need to pay another million as penalty.
According to the reporter, because of TH, many drama/movie producers are fighting for Jerry. After developed brotherhood kind of relationship while filming The Hospital, Dai Li Ren also wants to invite Jerry to be the main lead of his film. However, it is not easy for Jerry to accept invitations, especially in the second half of 2006, Jerry plans to give most of his time to overseas fans. Therefore, it is difficult for them to work together again in the near future.
Dai Li Ren's response quoted in the article, "It is true that I did invite YCX, but as there is not enough funding, so we won't work together this time, but there must be opportunities in the future."
Jerry's response through his agent Jiang Yi Peng: Jerry admires Dai Li Ren very much and he was invited by Dai in conversation on numerous times. However, details of the exact time and plan/schedule have not been confirmed. If Dai Li Ren decides to film the movie in the future, Jerry will surely like to work with him if opportunity comes up.
kkla: It is good to know that a lot of people are fighting for Jerry, but how come this reporter accused Jerry for something which has nothing to do with him? Dai Li Ren clearly indicates that the project stopped due to a lack of funding. If this reporter knew how much Jerry admires Dai and how much Jerry wants to work with Dai again, he wouldn't have speculated that the project stopped as Jerry didn't accept the invitation.
